Good Cheap feed. I like Thai-la-ong a lot better but still good and you can't complain about the price at lunch!!

This place was one of the worst thai places i've been to. A friend recommended it because we were in a rush and on a tight budget that night. I got the satay chicken entree which was fatty thigh and wasn't cooked properly (i noticed after 2 bites of the satay stick) then main was mussaman beef, which was dry and bland, like it'd been sitting in the fridge and reheated several times. The place was dirty, the waitresses were wearing crocs and looked untidy and just hung around the kitchen which is just at the end of the small room which everyone eats in, and spoke to eachother the whole time not really serving anyone. That night i ended up getting food poisoning and vomitting for 48 hours afterwards!

Delicious delicious at low price, especially lunch specials. Good for locals, but parking might be a problem.

This is a special place i come to dine when i want to do something that's a bit special and trendy . Delicious food and the price is right!!!

I love Thai food and I love going to Newtown for their famous Thai dishes.

These guys have great deals for the lunches and the quality is pretty good. The menu is quite extensive too

Love the $6 lunch specials everyday! Love going here w/ my student mates when we're always on a low budget as the servings & lunches are really yummy & great for value. There's also the newtown thai2 which is just up the road for more menu variety

This is a really cheap, good value for money shop, if you go in for a $6 lunch special. One of the most cheapest eats in Newtown. I was really happy with the food, there's plenty of meat and vegies. I wonder how they can serve up such great food for $6.

Went here with my church group- we got a great place were all 20 of us could sit and the food was delicious- if you've seen my other reviews on thai, I like my rice well cooked and this was great!

The food here is really cheap, especially if you go at lunchtime and get the lunch specials for $6. Its great value for money. My favourite is the chicken fried rice, my son who is 3 loves it. The only downside is that there is not alot of space for mums with prams, you can get a space if you're lucky, outside. But it is usually packed with students at lunchtime, so for mums at lunch hour, takeaway is the best option i reckon.
