Miles Wilson Hairdressing, Elsternwick

I've been going for over 10 years and I would not go anywhere else. Always a great cut and colour. I've never had a haircut I did not love. I always walk out with my hair looking amazing thanks to Virginia, she's a fantastic hairdresser. I have also had my hair cut several times by Pamela who does just as an amazing job.

The staff are very friendly and nice, not to mention they know how to cut hair.

I recently tried out this salon and so happy i did! The first place i have been to in a while where i felt comfortable enough to try something completely different and i am so happy i did. I got an excellent cut and colour by Amanda, and have received so many compliments already. Great service and friendly staff. Will definitely be back!

I am glad I discovered this salon a year ago! After a view disappointments around Melbourne I finally found the Hairdresser that know exactly what I want and what suits me! The color is looking great and I love the cut!

Great salon, friendly staff and good sound advice. Needed something practical, and thankfully noone tried to convince me of a hair-do which wouod have been obsolete as soon as i walked out. Prices were ok too; not over the top but not cheap either.

Excellent experience and I was very pleased with my hair cut and colour. I am a natural dark blonde and find it hard to find a good hairdresser that can give me good highlights that also look natural.

Miles Wilson did a great job of my hair colour... I have recommended to my friends, but first warn them about the cost. A little bit pricey for me. Due to this I wil not be returning.

I am delighted with the service I have had from Miles Wilson. They have removed the frizz from my hair-After having kids I hated my hair it was straw like and I couldn't do much with it- I used to iron it straight. Virginia and Amanda fixed my hair permanently! The chemically straightened it. It is soft I simply wash and quickly dry it and I am often asked if I've had my hair done or been to the hair dresser! I love that I can look after it between cuts and colours. My daughter also had hers done and is delighted!

found this wonderful salon via WOMOW and am now a convert. Fae was wonderful. The initial consultation was really helpful. Initially I wanted a fringe... after a Fae inspired reality check, I decided against it and took her advice in relation to something different with a much better look. I feel years younger. Its the first salon in melbourne that I've been to which has such a great vibe, its almost like walking into the set of that show "Cheers" where everybody knows your name. It was clear to me that they knew their clients and it wsa more like a friend gathering. I loved how well they knew their client base. I'll definitely be back!

Top class cut , color and dry . Wish it hadn't taken me twenty years to discover such good hairdressers.

All the staff with whom I have been involved make me feel they are interested in me and what I want them to achieve. The quality of cutting & styling is really good, and they are also concerned for general health of my hair & scalp. I've been with Miles Wilson for several years now and wouldn't consider changing hair salons.

I've been to MWH three consecutive times now, starting in October 2010. The most recent appointment was earlier on tonight. I was first introduced to them in via WOMOW looking for a decent hairdressing salon after being sick to death of getting crusty cuts from budget salons and my hair looking yuck a day after it was cut.

I absolutely love how bubbly and friendly the staff are, it's such a lovely feeling being welcomed as soon as you step in the salon. When they sit you done you'll be asked if you want tea/coffee/water. Wine and champagne are also available if you feel a little more indulgent, however, I've only been offered champagne once. From a clients' perspective, I think it would be great if the staff asked this every time like they do for tea & coffee.

Although I've had a different person colour and wash my hair during each appointment, I have always had Amanda cut my hair and she does such a fantastic job. From the word go I was very relaxed for her to experiment with my hair and let her cut my hair in a way that would suit me most. Each time we've tried something different and I've loved every single look. She also helped me find a gorgeous shade of red that I have been so satisfied with that I ask for the same colour each time. I always come out feeling pampered and looking funkalicious!

I've already booked my next appointment for 6 weeks' time. I've never paid this much to get my hair done but it's been totally worth it. Thanks MWH, I will keep on coming back again and again!
