This museum off of Kintore Avenue is a great find. It seems to be hidden away. The access is off a courtyard that is paved with interesting inserts in the brickwork. Entry is free and it tells the immigrate history of South Australia from the first days of settlement when Wakefield was selling land here from his business in England. Among the other museums and art galleries along North Tce this is one that is not highly visible. The courtyards behind the mentioned places includes the Army barracks of the 1800's. Overall it is an interesting area to browse around. I get a strange feeling of walking where my ancestors once walked. Eerie

This museum was awesome and it had free admission. The exhibitions were engaging. This is a great place for kids to learn and discover the rich cultural diversity of South Australian life. My son was given a fun and easy worksheet to complete and on completion he was given a little memento to take home.
