what a experience!!! the food was to die for i had fresh pasta which was full of flavour and would highly recommend it

We were really pleased to find such good quality food on the esplanade that stands out from all the other places. The pizza was really fresh and actually like pizza we have had in Italy. The calamari salad was also one of the best calamari dishes that I have had in a long time, with soft and delicate calamari that was well cooked and well seasoned. The wait staff were attentive with water and it was just an overall positive lunch!

Went looking for a nice resturant on the esplande with my inlaws and found Michaelangelo's. The service was attentive, there is alot to choose from on the menu and not badly priced. We ordered a bread to start, and then the four main we ordered was a vegetarian pizza, the Gnocchi, spaghetti bolongaise and the special which was steak fillets and they were all really good and were on our table quite fast. My husband and I eat out alot and are constantly disappointed so this resturant was a nice find if they keep there food and service at the current quality they will do very well in Cairns.
