I’ve been training with Michael since late January 2023 and have been nothing short of astounded at the hard work and dedication he puts into his work. The platform he uses is easy to interface with and allows for compatibility between other apps to cross share information. So far I’m down 10kg and am well on the way to losing more. He has provided me with support training face to face, dietician and nutrition support and advice, and a training routine that is easy to follow and is individualised. I had debated for a long time whether or not to pursue personal training and support and wish that I had done this a lot sooner! The benefits have been many, my energy levels have improved (which after years of shift work and night shifts had plateud), and I’m enjoying learning more about the functionality of my body and the nutrition side of things. All of these are lifelong learning tools that I can utilise for the rest of my life and continue my fitness journey!

I have been training with Michael Hermann PT and Performance Revolution online for close to 12 months. I use my local gym with the programs that is linked to a fitness app. We have not long come back from a 2 - month caravan trip without internet and Michael had downloaded workouts for the entire trip. He is very thorough and is contactable all the time. I get reviewed once a week and send him videos to get my form right.

I have been training with Michael for 3 years nearly and have gone from being not able to lift my dog to being able to bench press a barbell. Before I started I had never set foot in a gym and now I feel confident in my abilities and enjoy going.

Michael and his team provide me with 3 workouts a week, 2 of which I do on my own in the gym. I have constant support around me to ensure I am confident with the exercises

Why I recommend Michael as your PT in dot points:

- Very professional and easy to build good rapport with.
- Supports and guides you through each workouts/sessions as you work your way up.
- Really patience, especially as a first timer.
- Knowledgeable, so ask away. You also get weekly emails with more information, especially from an evidence-based background.
- Additional support and guidance through his business from his other team members (dietitian and an online coach).
- Did I mention, he is patience!?!

So please go ahead, you’ll be in safe hands as you work towards your body goals!

Michael helped me achieve my goal of losing 10 kg! I was about to quit the gym, I had gained 10 kg and was upset that my clothes were not fitting and that I looked dreadful in photos. After a phone call from Michael and a preliminary gym session with him, I joined him with training in February, 2019. I was a little sceptical at first, to be honest; but I signed on. One of the blockers I had with exercise was that I would start something and become injured. With Michael supervising me with every weight I lifted, I actually strengthened parts of my body that were contributing to the injuries in the first place! Michael kept me accountable and monitored my form (and attendance). I turned up to training most of the time and somewhat followed the dietary plan and I lost some of the weight, improved my shape and developed some muscles. It wasn’t that hard. However, it wasn’t until the middle of the year that I fully committed to cleaning up my eating and set goals with my training. Michael was incredibly supportive and encouraging and cheered me on. I still remember him saying to me: ‘Just follow the plan’. He is a man of very few words. By February, 2020 I had more than achieved my goals. I was seeing the trainers twice a week and hiking and walking on the weekends. When Covid 19 closed the gyms, it was devastating for everyone. Michael wasted no time and got straight to planning online sessions. Zoom was set up and away we went. I found online training to be easy and time saving. I didn’t have to drive to the gym or find a park. Michael incorporated the equipment I had at home into the training sessions. Since online training was set up, I have now joined the Core and Cardio classes twice a week as well as my strength training. I have never been fitter NOT going the gym. Now gyms are re-opening I plan to attend the gym once a week and to train online three times a week. It’s really a time efficient way of training.

There a gazillion Personal trainers out there, but I chose Michael.

Not just because he is the consummate professional and has so much knowledge in his field, but because (even when I wasn’t his client for years), he noticed if I hadn't been to the gym for a while, and would call me to see if I was okay.

That is what sets Michael apart from all the rest.

I have had a range of personal trainers over the last 5 years and after changing gyms, started training with Michael a year ago. He is by far the most knowledgeable and professional PT I’ve ever trained with. Michael really took the time to understand my goals and to create a program that worked for me. This includes fitting in around a pretty hectic work schedule. He also supports the training with some awesome resources that increase your knowledge of training, stretching and nutrition....and has some seriously killer playlists!!!!!. I have seen amazing results in the last year and if you are looking for a awesome personal trainer I definitely recommend Michael.

I cannot praise Michael Hermann's PT highly enough! I have been consistently going to the gym and working with PTs for 8 years now but I have to say that Michael has had the biggest impact on my results than anything in that time. His skill level surpasses that of any of the trainers I have worked with. The sessions are really thought out (they really are full body workouts) and Michael provides consistent variety which means I stay motivated and most importantly sore! I have never once felt like I wasn’t making progress or the exercises were getting mundane or weren’t challenging enough. The flexibility of the sessions especially the online options means it is so much easier so I have never been more fit, more motivated or seen results so quickly. The product provided by Michael is a completely holistic program. I love it!
