Maribyrnong Veterinary Clinic, Maribyrnong

I take both of my cats to this vet, not because it is local - far from it but because they are always friendly, helpful and were able to look after my cats in the way I would look after them.

I adore this vet clinic. After moving to this area trying to find a new vet, I firstly attended another local vet that seems to be so highly regarded on here. This was not the case for me, in my opinion. They recommended I put down my kitten without completing all the necessary x-rays etc and afterward, I found out from another vet in discussion that I most likely made the wrong decision. ANYWAY!! I stopped going to that vet immediately, and found Maribyrnong Vet. They are wonderful people there, the actual vet that sees my pets all the time is amazing and I am glad that I am a regular there now. They don't try to upsell products as another person has said, they recommended me what I really needed, and I gave the go ahead to get whatever else I thought I needed. Very happy!!

I came in Maribyrnong Veterinary Clinic Animal Hospital on 01/11 to treat my cat (the problem was unknown). First of all it took them 3 day to find out that cat has urinary blockage.

This is a fantastic vetinary clinic. All the staff really care about my animals and have helped me through some difficult decisions with my dogs over the years. They were incredibly compassionate and thoughtful when I had to put down my little dog and I will always be thankful for that.

The vets and nurses at Maribyrnong Veterinary Clinic are wonderful and very helpful. We have been taking out pets to this vet clinic since it opened. Recently our dog of 16 years had to be euthanised due to arthritis and ill health (basically old age). The staff were very understanding and compassionate and did not rush us into any decisions at all. We could not have asked for friendly staff in such a trying situation for the family. 5 stars all the way!

I have been taking my kitties to this vet for many years now. The Vets and Nurses are always kind and understanding. Although I moved to Tarneit two years ago I still take my cats to this clinic.

We have been taking our pets here for their entire lives (4 years). They are all great vets. The nursing staff are great and most importantly our dog LOVES going there. Even after being desexed! They have a 24 hour on call service and nothing is ever too much trouble. We have also boarded our cats their when we've been on holidays.

My impression of the place was that the whole exercise of bring my pets in for treatment was more about selling me as many products and services as possible. I was charged a large pathology fee on top of the consultation fee because the vet spent 2 minutes using his microscope. Both the vet and the receptionist spent quite a lot of time trying to convince me to buy dog food from them, when I can buy the same brand for significantly less elsewhere. Many of the sales techniques were guilt based.

I have taken my pet dog to this clinic for the last 5 years and they are friendly, caring & informative. I recommend them to my friends who live in the area

The people are always lovely, and treat me and my pet with kindness and respect. They do a follow up call after pets have been vaccinated to make sure everything's ok. Prices are normal for vet services, and they're open on weekends. Good stuff!
