Went here with my hubby as a gift voucher/present. The initial greeting was a bit lack-lusted. I agree with some of the other reviews describing that some seemed as though they did not want to be there. Then after the treatment we were approached by the (?boss) who told us to leave a good review. The service we received - back waxing - was done well though.

Got treated like a king once in the chair, got a great shave and some valuable tips re shaving. Great experience

Got sick of the place I'd been going for years to get my hair cut as service wasn't great-haircut was a bit ordinary and I'd never been given any type of loyalty discount. Decided to try Manhor on a whim (that was 5 haircuts ago) and can't see myself going anywhere else now. They're nearly always pretty much on time, really good, friendly service, value for money and most importantly I am happier with my haircuts than I have been for many, many years. Didn't know I could look so good! I also find I can go longer between haircuts for some reason...something to do with the quality of the cut I suppose. My only criticism (which is very minor) is that it's been open a few years now and in some details (in terms of wear and tear) it shows.

Just amazing, the staff are so friendly and chatty, not the usual hairdresser chit chat, they actually seem interested in you. Along with offering a drink whether its a beer or a latte, you feel at ease waiting for your haircut. I use Dean, and apart from his beard (haha) he is a very very good hairdresser. Just ask him to slow down when he talks (he is VERY scottish).

I have had my eyebrows waxed and I was happy with the result. For the cost of the manicure I wasn't completely satisfied. I have received a better result at a nail salon for half the price. My cuticals were not tidied up completely.

Wow! I was shouted a haircut, colour and face peel/beauty treatment as a birthday gift by friends. The staff are very friendly and professional, and I loved how I was offered complimentary refreshments! Great work, guys! I'll be back!

No wow factor at this place, the biggest thing that lets it down is the way the staff greet you when you walk in. They don't seem to be happy to see you. The hair cut I rec'd was fine & I had no issues with it, I would give it another go as maybe they were having a bad day but they need to now that first impressions count, so keep that smile on your face no matter how your feeling as I left feeling a little unhappy.
