I have moved places a number of times (inc today!) with "the man" each time I have been very happy with the service, the guys work fast, are very professional and very helpful. They all seem like genuinely nice guys! Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Have used a few times. On time, efficient. Be warned though they promote that your goods are fully insured -- you need to point out that something is broken when they are still there at the completion of the move. And it's your word against theirs. Our fridge was damaged but of course we didn't know until that evening -- because you must keep the fridge turned off for at least 30 mins past move and you don't know that it's not cooling properly for a number of hours. Very disappointed that didn't cover cost of the repair as it was only $250.

These guys just moved from St Kilda from Fitzroy and I just wanted to jump straight on here and say they are brilliant. While there was a travel charge, but they gave me the heads up on that, the whole thing worked out pretty cheap considering I didn't have to lift a finger, apart from unlock the doors and tell them where to put stuff. They turned up when they said they would and they managed to move double fridge, no hassle and worked as fast and hard as they could - they didn't take a break. They got the whole thing done in just under three hours, you could tell they weren't stalling for extra $$, pretty spot on with what they quoted me over the phone. I'd recommend moving on a weekday if you want to save some money.

Man with a van helped us move house across Melbourne. This was our final move after moving between three countries with six individual moves over the last two years. Without doubt, these guys provided the best service we have had over all these moves and they even came in under budget. Superb- thanks guys!

We had Angus and Sam help with our move and they were extremely friendly and professional. It's nice having movers who know what they are doing and work really quick. We'll be using them again if we have to move in the future. Definitely would recommend Man with a Van without blinking an eye!

I used man with a van removalists only on one occasion...they were moving my bedroom (1 queen bed, 2 small bedside drawers, 1 large mirror drawer, mattress) and some furniture for studio room (1 tall book case and 1 tall study table with book shelves)... They charge $100 per hour... No scratches on my furniture and they were polite, but not quick as you would expect in my (opinion)... It took 2.5 hrs to move everything and they do charge driving time from their depot, so my cost was over $350.00...I wasn't happy for charging this hidden cost for sure as no one mentioned it when I was given a quote...so cost came up to 3.5 hrs...not sure if that is fair, but if you like to use it as they are really careful with removing, then ask what they are actually charging...

Moved a fridge and oven (both big and very heavy) up an awkward flight of stairs into the kitchen. They were on time, quick, friendly, polite and moved my things with care. I was really happy with their work.

The guys came on time and even rang us when they were 15 minutes away to tell me they are on their way - I was very pleased with this courtesy call.s

The guys were very efficient and worked hard.
