i REALLY LOVE this place, you get fresh ingredients and can choose as you order- it's like subway for Mexican but fresh- not sure how authentic it is but its great to be able to have a healthy option and choose each ingredient. Although I will never agree with paying extra for guacamole it's a mexican basic and they never give you much

My first time experiencing this place! Liked the decor - corona bottles made into lights. Found the menu pretty easy to follow but wished I'd known they were going to put coriander all over it!!! (hate it) and also too spicy for my taste buds so wish there was some indication that what I'd chosen was going to be spicy. I had the naked burrito. Maybe it just wasn't my thing though as my boyfriend loved it! Without the coriander and over kill on the spice it would have been great!

Meh, despite the name it wasn't incredibly fresh, pretty much a 'what you pay for' kind of experience, fast food with an emphasis on the fast rather than quality. Not sure I would come back as I found it to be way to greasy for my liking.

It's basically a Mexican subway and I love that idea! I'm not huge on Mexican but my partner is... But this place is a refreshing change to the other fast food chains. Can be a much healthier option too. Love it as you can spice it up yourself with the sauces provided too. Great, fresh convenient fast food that's a much healthier option than many of the others. We grabbed a burrito and beer each and ate inside the restaurant and then walked the length of chapel street and back. Perfect!

Approximate cost: $10

The staff here are really friendly and helpful and the food is delicious and great serving sizes. For something that looks like a bit of a tacky chain, the food is very yummy and cheap!

This is a cool alternative to the typical Mexican establishment. It is like Taco Bill meets Subway. Food was generous and good. Prices were quite reasonable. Nice ambiance.

Approximate cost: $12

I love Mexican food, so my expectations are high. Mad Mex does not live up to these. The portions are big, but the food is somewhat bland. No real complaints, but no reason for going back there either.

Approximate cost: $10

The food at Mad Mex is great value, great size serves and the staff are friendly. The restaurant was neat, clean and well presented and it was easy to get a table. One of Chapel Streets best kept secrets.

Approximate cost: $20
