Really enjoyed eating here with my partner. Great menu although I did go for the more basic options of butter chicken and saffron rice. Will definately eat here again!

Had the opportunity to have quite a reunion at Etham, one of our friends knew Machan's and brought us over. The food was really great. Something new to me but I like it. The place is clean and nicely lit. It wasn't crowded when we went so that was a plus for me.

I like the ambiance. The food is good. Not your everyday kind of food. I don't really have much of a liking to the cuisine but they serve really good food. Me and my friends eventually made it one of our staple hangouts

We've been eating at Machan for the last three years since we moved to the area. The family who own the business are so welcoming and genuine, and they produce consistently excellent food. They are really accommodating and can cater for different levels of 'hot'. Since emigrating to Australia from the UK, this is the best Indian restaurant for Dine in and takeaway that I have found. We love Machan :)

Approximate cost: $20

We've been going to Machan for the past 10 or so years (just after the current owners took over) - and they've always been so consistently good! The weekend before last, we caught up with a friend and my inlaws there - and we really enjoyed our evening. Entrees were tandoori chicken, samosas and veg pakoras. Mains were Dahl Makhani (mum-in-law said okay, but needed some seasoning), Beef Madras (my hubby loves this dish, it's probably one of his all time faves!), butter chicken (our friend at every last bit of it!), and I had the Paneer Makhani - which was delicious as usual!! We shared slices of plain an garlic naan, as well as saffron rice. We brought a couple of bottles of wine, corkage was $1/pp. overall, great night - enjoyed the food, enjoyed the hosts, atmosphere - great place to meet friends or to just have a yummy dinner with your partner! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Approximate cost: $15

Food is gorgeous, flavour rich. & not too heavy. Our fave being the beef madras. Service is friendly & obliging. Highly recommend both dine in or take away.

Great food and very reasonable prices. Nice to dine in, very clean and tidy though we usually get take away. Great tikka massala and dahl makhani! Very accommodating with small children and special dietary requirements. Lovely family who run the restaurant- so friendly.

The service here is excellent, very obliging but also give you your own space.

The food is good but not the "best" I have had although some of their dishes are very nice. I think you just have to work out what their best dishes are and stick to them.

Approximate cost: $10-$16

This restaurant is run by a lovely, caring family. Good food, reasonably priced. They treat their guests as if you were having dinner at their home. It's always a pleasure to walk into their premises. They provide friendly, prompt service and good quality food for a reasonable price. We visit regularly with our dog to pick up takeaway. One time, they brought out some raw chicken wings for her while we were waiting, which she loved.
