EDIT: I went back to have my fringe fixed up, and Emma was so lovely and accommodating. We talked through what I wanted and she managed to make me love my fringe again!!

Usually I leave this hairdresser feeling refreshed and relaxed. However yesterday I got my first head of foils and had a trim on my hair and fringe for my birthday this weekend. I left feeling very deflated and feeling like I was going to burst into tears. I’m a bit of a perfectionist so I know sometimes I can be a little hard on how the haircut went, but this time every time I looked at myself in the mirror I wanted to cry. The hairdresser didn’t ask how I style my fringe and just started cutting straight across (not how I have it styled normally). I mentioned this fact later for which she apologised, but I was still charged full price even though I was unhappy with it (over $400). I was also there for almost 5 hours. I feel like I don’t look like myself and am upset that this is the hair I will have for my birthday. The foils they did turned out well, a couple pieces of hair look white rather than blonde but other than that I’m happy with it. Like I said, I’m a bit of a perfectionist, but I am truly unhappy with my fringe.

I've been using them for more than 3 years now. They are the only people who I can tryst with my hair. Friendly and professionally team! Sandy is very patient and listen to my need, she always do a great job on my hair.

I usually walk out of a hairdresser's salon feeling like I had been there forever and still wasn't happy with my hair or the price. But I went to Lunatic Fringe for the first time last week and I could not be happier. Wonderful people (Heidi did an amazing job on me) in every area from reception to hair washing/head massaging to the genius who made me the best hot chocolate with marshmallows EVER! This time I walked out feeling amazing and with a haircut & colour worth every cent. Highly recommend.

Lovely ladies, a great salon with good atmosphere, did such a great job of my balayage, the colour blend was beautifully done and cut was flattering and they thinned out my thick hair. Highly recommend.

It is great to walk in the salon and know that the staff all have the right knowledge of the products and skills to use and do when one does not know what they want just that they are needing a change and to walk out of the salon feeling on top of the world.

I love Lunatic Fringe! The salon is pleasant and well-appointed, especially the 'shampoo lounges' where you get an all over massage thanks to the vibrating chairs while you have your hair washed. The scalp massages are excellent too! The hair services are priced well and the staff are always friendly and good at their jobs. This business supports homeless youth and they are very passionate about it. Definitely give Lunatic Fringe a try; you won't be disappointed!

Very happy customer. They make you feel very welcome, and have a great 'newsletter' with a nice community feel sent out occasionally. They are a happy team, and the hair wash station is just glorious. Very nice.

Had a great experience here, friendly service, great attention to the hairstyle I wanted, very patient. I also liked the fact that the salon is a little hidden away plus the massage chair I got to sit on when I had my hair washed, very relaxing experience...highly recommended

They are excellent at what they do. They do not rush the job, are very friendly and have excellent value. Plus they offer great drinks and snacks :)
