La Cucina, Gymea

I agree with all the other reviews, this place is a gem. It is always busy, but the staff do well, always attentive and happy to help. My friend is allergic to garlic and the chef was happy to provide a special meal without fuss, even though garlic is obviously used in everything, and it was a saturday night. I love the specials, they always change and always offer great value for money. You will never be disappointed with this restaurant!

I went to La Cucina for a work function and was thoroughly pleased. Wonderful food, excellent service and a warm atmosphere. Everyone i went with (15 people) were also very happy with the restaurant. One staff member has severe allergies to alot of foods but this was no problem for the chef at La Cucina who provided her with a meal meeting all her needs. Would highly recommend.

The food here is second to none. Fully licensed or BYO, your choice! I like to take my wine but just have a pre dinner mixed drink from their bar first. I highly recommend the La Cucina salad which is nice on its own or with chicken as either an entree or main meal. The specials menu has some fantastic options and the entire menu is exceptional. Don't leave without some scrumptious dessert! Staff are very professional and yet very friendly making sure everyone receives first rate attention. If you are in the area give them a try, you won't be sorry.

The restaurant was very busy when we arrived and there were only 2 waitresses on. They did their best but we waited about 15-20 minutes to order than another 25 minutes before we got food. The food was good though, I really enjoyed my pasta marinara and it was a generous portion

The food is a nice surprise, I went there not expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. The staff are nice and the food is just what you need in Italian (Modern)

Very attentive to our needs with a 9 month old, making sure we were warm in the outdoor area - gas heater and even a blanket offered. Menu was extensive but we both ended up going for the specials - pork and salmon
