The most expensive at Korean BBQ restaurant I have seen so far in Adelaide. Here I was expecting a reasonable about for my dish ESP after paying approx $20 a dish. Turns out that I only get 250gm on the plate including bones which was less than a cheap ass pub steak.
Ordered us 4 dishes which didn't fill us up. I think the reason people go there was to fill up on the rice and side dishes, but I was more there for the BBQ so it missed the spot for me.
Not going there again

If you love Korean food and wish for the banquet that's sufficient for your stomach then its the best place for you. The happy and friendly staffs are the key ingredients of good dinning. You should try once and you will be going their again and again.

Never eaten Korean before. Loved it! Service was great food was great! To cook your dinner on a barbecue at your table was a great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had banquet and there was sufficient food for the two of us. Would highly recommend this and can't wait to experience this restaurant again.

Yummy food :) I've never really been a fan of Korean BBQ but this one surprised me. Went out with family and my cousin had sworn that the food was good. Staff are nice, plenty of smiles and good advice if you're not really familar with the food.

We almost didn't go in, the Korean BBQ is thru the back of the Thai/Malaysian restaurant at the front .... we are sooo glad we did!
We ate here with out 5yo & 6yo who are quite fussy eaters, our son liked the flavours so much he even tried the baby octopus! We shared a banquet and just ordered an entree for the kids to share, there was so much food they shared our's and there was some left over. The wait staff are so friendly and were very generous with their time too, the wine list was very reasonably priced with a good range; but overall it was all about the fantastic food made great by a wonderful experience. I rate this as my favourite dining experience in a very long time.

This is truley a hidden jem!! You may have to be a little brave to walk though Spices to the back of the restaurant and head left and you will walk into another restaurant. But don't be shy they are owned by the same people and you will not be shunned for walking past the first restaurant.
The food is exceptional, the coal barbeques are amazing and a wonderful change from the usual fire barbeques which can be a bit smokey.
The food is to die for! Don't miss out

Went there for my birthday - they were very kind and good with serving drinks and explaining all the dishes that were coming out - how to cook them, if we needed help etc. They accommodated us not eating seafood and quickly changed that part of the banquet to another delicious chicken dish. Was amazing food, and we left super full. Atmosphere is intimate and nice - will definitely go there again!

I love Korean BBQ, however, my partner and I were looking to eat somewhere different. the other restaurants we have been to in Adelaide are hot and smoky, which is rather unpleasant on a summers day. So we looked on WOMOW (which I was referred to by a work friend) and found Korean BBQ.
I had been to spices before and seen people walk though but had never known there was a restaurant back there so I was amazed when I read the review above.
We ordered the banquet like Dot suggested and it was amazing. They cooked some of the harder foods for you and cut the ribs up. I would suggest trying the meat wrapped in lettuce because it was amazing.
Lastly, I would say you should book, they were very busy when we went there and we were glad we had a table booked or we wouldn't have been able to enjoy a lovely meal

First thing - you must book!! It's very popular!! Secondly - it's like a secret!! Located in the back of the Spices restaurant, you actually walk through Spices to a separate back room - I love the look of the people dining in Spices - "Where are they going?. What is back there? What am I missing out on" look. You should order a banquet, because it just makes sense being so affordable and sampling a range of foods and dessert and coffee. You cook your own meals at the table with a grill in-built into the table. The idea is rolling up the meat with sprouts, etc in lettuce leaves, but we just ate that separately like a salad. The chilli chicken is amazing! Also try the green tea ice cream - it's not on the menu, but because they share the building with Spices and Yakumi, they just get it from them and bring it to you. Very special. I felt very welcomed and important. Returning soon....I must book....
