Absolutely `world-class`. These caves have breath taking scenery and the tours are accompanied by extremely knowledgeable guides. Our guide was very funny and had a great sense of adventure. We went on the most expensive cave tour and the caves that we saw were extraordinary in their own right. The cave tour went for about an hour and a half and it gave us a bit of a workout. You get to see the most amazing crystal clear waters imaginable. In fact, they are so clear that you cannot even tell it is not a mirror reflection you are looking at, or tell how deep they really are. (It is quite mind altering really.) Absolutely a must see attraction if you are heading to the Blue Mountains.

The caves are amazing I did 3 tours River tour Tempal of Baal and the diamond cave they were amazing it was a busy weekend but they limit the numbers on the tours so you still have a very intimate feel when exploring the caves. The beauty there is like nothing you will find anywhere else i highly recommend going. The 3 guides I had were very informative and were happy to answer any questions they made the caves a even better experience

Perfect if you enjoy an adventure! We drove in from the road via Katoomba.. was glad to find there was an alternate route through Oberon!! When you drive down that narrow passage down the mountain and through the fog.. don't look down! I don't know how they get those bus coaches down there but I am glad we didn't meet another car on that road!!

We done a total of 5 cave tours on our visit, The Imperial, The Legends, Mysteries and Ghost Tour, The Orient and the self guided tour through nettle cave via the Devil's Coach House.

We found all the guides to be friendly and knowledgeable and each experience was well worth it.

If you are interested in the history or just looking for something different I would highly recommend the "Legends, Mysteries and Ghost Tour" this is held on Wednesday and Saturday nights. Especially if you will be staying on the grounds as it finishes about 10pm. It is really something special! Your tour is dependent on your guide as they can take you into any cave they wish and you do it by "lantern light" all the main lights are shut off and you get to experience something very different, the tour can also include as it did for us off the regular tracks things you don't always get to see on the regular tour.

If you want something visually beautiful, the temple of Baal is it!! It is perhaps the most beautiful of all the "Jewel" caves while it's a lot of steps down... it's well worth it!

The entire experience was wonderful, something for every one!! Highly recommended! Would love to go back and do some of the other tours soon!

These caves are absolutely beautiful. The tour guides give a well presented and informative tour. There are a few restaurants and cafes around the area and they have a hotel on site as well. Plenty of picnic areas too.

This place is a must visit! Approximately a half hour drive from Katoomba, this place offers both guided and self-guided tours of the Jenolan Caves. I completed the Orient Cave tour as I was told it is one of the most beautiful caves there and they were right. The cave is truly breathtaking. I would recommend getting there early in the morning so you can get the most out of your day and if you plan on doing a guided tour, book in advance.

Approximate cost: $35.00

There is a number of different caves with different levels of adventure that you can choose from. Some are as easy as walking straight in with minimal effort. Some have lots of stairs, etc. It's a really enjoyable and affordable activity.
