I have been going into this store since it opened, I have never had anything except exceptional service, and the staff always are willing to help and offer suggestions. The staff had to tell some of the children off, but they did so in a gentle manner, asking the kids to please put that away or give them the item in question. I can understand why, as their products are of exceptional quality, with the prices to reflect this. I also noticed signs on all the ride-on toys saying "Please do not ride me". Their range is fantastic, and their store always looks clean and full of stock.
The Good:
Service, products, store layout.
The Bad:
Not enough money to buy what we want.

Hi Louise If staff had spoken to my children in the way that you had suggested, or even to me, of course we would have said to the kids to stop. But there was no verbal communication and the contrast in behaviour which staff directed to the other child could not have been more obvious. And there was also no sign on the trike. I also accept the view expressed below that as a small store owner, you need to protect your stock. However, this is a toy store and parents make decisions on which toys to buy based on whether their children show interest in the toys and you can only judge this by allowing children to touch the toys. Again, our kids did so gently and were supervised at all times. Lan
