This was my first time eating at Jang Ta Bal,Korean Restaurant & the wait for a table for 2 was a long one at 6pm, we waited for about 1 hour. The kitchen seemed oddly placed in front of the restaurant & waiting area.
When we were finally seat, they immediately placed the charcoal for the BBQ , but were didn't plan on having BBQ meat & in the end we felt like we had to. So we ordered Wagya beef bulgogi, pork belly (spicy marinade) & squid for the BBQ. We also had a serving of Japchae (sweet potato noodles), which was average in taste.
Overall the meal was ok, there was nothing really outstanding and personally I thought it was a bit pricey for the amount of food we recieved.

This was my second time eating korean . this place is close to strathfield station . prices are average we were 5 people and ended up paying a 100$ but we weren't totally full. you sit on table that are at the same time bbqs and you grill your own meat in front of you. The chicken we had was good and the kimshi and other stuff not bad at all. the staff dont all talk in english so you might have some diffuclties . otherwise ok place
