Hire for Baby

I have used Hire for Baby twice and both times have recieved exceptional service. I had my car seat installed and hired a capsule for my second car from the Mernda location. The seats were installed by Toni on a day with sweltering temperatures, all with a friendly smile and great humour. I felt confident that they were installed safely, and appreciated the extra time taken to answer my questions. I hired a dual pump from the Flemington Hire for Baby and it was delivered next day - again the customer service from Belinda has been great. I was able to extend the rental easily. I would recommend either Mernda or Flemington based on my experience

Filled in the online booking form for getting car seats at Melbourne airport, twice, no response or acknowldegement.

Rang twice; got voice mail.

Emailed the Melbourne north and general info address; no response. I felt I felt i should just have used the hire cars seats.

Searched and found another site. Filled in booking form for ' justtakethekids' instant acknowledgement and follow up email within a day.

The concept of this business if quite good, but in South Australia many of the representatives are mum's working from home which I don't have an issue with. Its just in my dealings found that booking an appointment to get a car seat installed for our new baby frustrating. It took a long time to get in, and the women would not work at all over the school holidays. I ended up going elsewhere as they were not flexible enough.

The quality of the equipment we hired was exceptional. All in perfect condition and cleanliness. All items were delivered and waiting for us. When the car hire company we used made the drop off difficult, the team came and met us at the airport on Sunday morning to help us out with no trouble at all. They even helped us unpack two cars, 4 kids and went and found us a trolley for our luggage...now THAT's great customer service!

I am beyond happy with Hire for Baby's service. The installation of the car seat into our hire car was first class! There is no way that seat could move (and I tried really hard). Thank you for helping us at short notice too :) (also hired a pram with the car seat)

I have used Hire for Baby two times in 2011 to hire car seats for my children. We live overseas and when we venture into Melbourne (sometimes at short notice), it is not always convenient to borrow car seats as we previously did. So thank you Hire for baby, for making our experience such an easy transaction, and to be able to have them delivered to our door at short notice is extremely convenient. The service is fast and top notch and the car seats are extremely well kept. I look forward to hiring again from you in the future when we visit Melbourne on our next trip.

used this service when our babies were young and we wanted to use capsules instead of car seats for the first 3 months. Much cheaper than buying them and they were all good quality

I have used hire for baby twice to hire a car seat for my 1yr old while travelling interstate. Each time they were super efficient, flexible with the drop offs, quick to return enquiry emails and very professional. I would definitely continue to use this service when travelling!

I just hired a baby car capsule from Sharon at Hire For Baby (Brisbane North). She was very helpful in instructing how to install it, as well as answering any other questions I had. The capsule is brand new and I believe it is good value for money at $99 for 6 months for a Baby Love capsule which is one of the more popular models.
