Come to the Professionals. We love and are proud of what we do, so we carry out our services the BEST we possibly can using the leading products by the best Manufacturers. We use Bio ionic Re Tex Japanese Hair Straightening and Kerasmooth and Keratin Complex Hair Smoothing and Nanomax permanent hair repair. Hair Extensions by Balmain, Paris.

We use L'Oreal Wella Kuene and Schwarzkopf and also Original Mineral an Australian Organic Hair Colour range.  Alicia, the Salon Owner is an ex LOreal,Toni & Guy trained London Uk colour and chemical specialist. Many clients seek Colour Correction.

Alicia taught Hairdressing in London at the International Morris Masterclass European and Afro Caribbean Academy and until recently held the position of Principal Teacher of the Gold Coast School of Hairdressing

Today was my second visit to Hair On The Park, the first for a microdermabrasion which I have never experienced. Alicia explained in detail the procedure and expectations. I was extremely happy with the result and plan for a second. Today's visit was for Kerasmooth hair straightening in which I am over the moon about. The result was far better than I expected and once again Alicia explained every step of the way with fantastic results. I would highly recommend Hair On The Park to everyone, and I am so grateful I found them. For the first time in 15 years, I like my hair and can now walk with my head held high, and not hiding under sunglasses. Thank you Alicia so much for giving me back some confidence.

Love this place! Was looking for a hairdresser who stocked keuhne products. They ordered it in for me, pampered me with tea and coffee, gave me a complimentary hair treatment and only the one stylist did my hair from colour all the way through to drying and styling! This is very rare! They made me feel special and relax whilst they created my new hair style. Love it! Love it!

I am stoked I have found my hairdresser on the Gold coast now - Personalised appointments, great product knowledge and excellent prices!! Very Happy Jan!! :-)

I went to Hair on the Park for my first consultation as my old hairdresser had relocated. I learnt from Alicia that my hair was not in very good condition. I left the salon with a great cut and styled hair. My hair is now on the road to recovery and I am looking forward to what is yet to come. Thank you so much I am looking forward to my next visit.

I run Addicted 2 Dance studio on the Gold Coast so it is imperative I not only maintain my body but my overall appearance. I have a 4 month old son so for approximately a year I have omitted to getting my hair done. I arrived at Hair on the Park with uncontrollable, unmanageable hair. My hair is long, curly and very thick and was actually quite matted. After receiving reassurance via email that Alicia could help me rejuvenate my hair I felt truly secure and comfortable with her working with my messy head. Prior to arriving at the salon I was terribly embarrassed and insecure but during my consultation Alicia built my self-confidence, I was in great care. I arrived for the Nano-Mex treatment a couple of days later and had the lovely Sophie administer the treatment. I knew the girls had their work cut out for them but with the extreme professionalism, care and guidance I never felt worried. From the massage chair whilst receiving a thorough yet relaxing shampoo, to the gentle application of the treatment which was accompanied by tea, coffee or water, I truly felt as if my first appointment at a salon after a year was like a mini day spa or retreat. The staff are friendly, professional, considerate and the treatments very affordable. I'm looking forward to returning for my relaxer mid May!

I attended Hair on the Park today for the first time, presenting with multi hair colours and a dry lifeless overall look. After explaining to me what had gone wrong with my previous applications and how she would correct it, Alicia set about altering my look. After many hours of careful application, I walked out with a lovely hair cut, new colour and shiny, healthy looking hair. Thankyou so much!

I was referred to Hair on the Park by my mum who has been going there for many years now. I was sick of getting haircuts that were unsatisfactory and a waste of time and money, so when I went to Alicia, I loved how she took her time making sure everything was perfect, especially my fringe that had been cut poorly before I visited her. I appreciate how it isnt a matter of getting my hair done quickly to get me out the door, and this way I know I'm recieving a quality haircut.

I would also like to mention that Alicia did my hairstyle for my year 12 formal that was amazing! I was very happy with how it turned out and I would deffinitely go back for any service to do with my hair. :)

After moving to the Gold Coast 5 years ago from Melbourne i have had so many horrible hair experiences i had almost given up that there was a good hair dressers on the Coast!!

What a haven this salon is. It's a truly world class hair salon in the most unlikely location. The colourists are second to none. They turned my 13 yr old's purple holiday hair, "I promise it will wash out Mum" back into her natural blonde and she didn't get expelled from school!! There are so many hairdressers who make blonde's look so brassy. These girls make you look like a natural blonde. Thanks so much and I'll be seeing you very soon. Oh and the cost was much the same as the other salons but the experience and results much more. One more thing, great coffee in a gorgeous plunger.

I had my hair chemically straightened and it was amazing! The service was out-standing I would recommend the team in a heart beat! I feel like a brand new person - it used to take me at least 1 hour to straighten my hair and now I can just walk out of the shower and my hair is straight!
