Utterly amazing chocolates - if you are from out of town, you MUST come here and try the beautiful chocolates. Although the building is unassuming, the chocolate is all that matters!! You can get some good discounts on chocolate which is supposedly imperfect, but this usually consists of a wonky line here and a dot of exposed filling there.

This is where the famous Haigh's chocolates are made. Right from the chocolate bean to the finished product is produced here. There is a glass wall between the factory and the showroom/sales area so you can view the handcrafted chocolates being made. Sometimes there are little taste treats offered and then there is the seconds stand which is marked at reduced prices. They still taste the same and if buying for own consumption cost less. Always wonderful to drop in here
Stopped here to pick up a small bundles of seconds chocolates. Just a slight imperfection in the shape and they are reduced. Can see the chocolates being made and also buy gift boxes of perfect chocolates and bars. Wonderful place but not good for the waist line. A South Australian icon
This place has traffic control outside at Christmas time and it is easy to see why. Some of the best chocolate I have ever eaten with a great range. I have friends who beg me to bring this stuff when I travel interstate. Great range of Christmas and Easter products during those periods.

I attended the Factory as a parent helper with my daughters class.
It was wonderful watching the children's awe at the effort and care put into making their favourite sweet.
We all enjoyed our excursion here, and of course spending our allowances [lol] in the shop.

Was asked to buy a work gift for a colleague from Haighs. very good service and a large selection of chocolate. Unfortunately, very little for vegans....would be great if they made soy chocolate or chocolate made from almond milk perhaps. Steer clear of the dairy people!
Dude! You can't remove stars from a company just because they don't make what you want them to make. What I should remove a start because they don't sell organic potatos?! That's mental. So they don't make Soy chocolate or Almond Chocolate? Haigh's is renowned for the quality of the chocolate they make, which they make from scratch. Judge them on that. Does their chocoloate have a good flavour, does it have a good lustre, and a good snap. How does the flavour and aroma profile compare with other brands of chocolate, how do their prices compare, how does the quality of ingredients they use affect the mouth feel of their chocolates, do they give good customer service, how is the presentation of their product and so on and so on. There are so many aspects to running a business and producing a product, why on earth would you judge them so harshly for something that they don't even make?
The factory and visitor centre are located here. You can view the chocolates being hand dipped through the glass window. As well as being able to buy first grade items there are often seconds for sale at a much reduced price. They taste just a nice if they are for personal use.
Superb chocolate. Just love watching the women hand decorating each individual chocolate. Something for everyone - the milk chocolate is lovely for the children and the dark chocolate is perfect for more sophisticated tastes. The Easter display is always beautiful but don't leave your shopping to the last minute as it gets very, very busy. The truffles are to die for.
very nice chocolate but very expensive. the factory tour is a great experience and def recommended. you also get some chocolate during the tour. yum
Welcome to chocolate heaven! Haighs have some of the nicest chocolate in Australia and if you are looking for which Haighs store to go to, the Parkside one is the obvious choice. It's the factory store where you can not only buy all your favourite Haighs products but also seconds, which are cheaper but just as delicious versions of your favourites. If you LOVE chocolate, then you'll LOVE Haighs...and if you LOVE Haighs, then you'll LOVE the Parkside store!
