HCF Health Insurance

Have been with HCF for 3 years. We have used a HCF members first dentist and therefore not had to pay anything for checkups, x-rays and cleans. HCF is a great health insurance company. They have no gap for kids hospital stays. Recently, our son needed grommets, he was admitted straight away to a private hospital and we did not even see a bill. Very pleased with HCF - we always recommend to family friends.

I have had my health insurance with HCF for about 2 years and been happy with the service.

Each time I have called, the person answering was able to assist me and give me a quick answer

So far have not needed to make any claims, so I hope that process will be smooth too

I have been with HCF for 5 years and the customer service is always fantastic. I do find it a it frustrating that the things we have to pay for eg. Specialist Drs appointments are not covered, I wish it could be more tailor made to fit our family's needs.

Just recently joined and have used them once for remedial massage, Couldn't swipe the card but got the rebate back very fast! Great customer service and price compared to my previous fund!

For somebody that doesn't think a lot of any private health insurance companies, I think that HCF are as good as they get. I have hospital and extra's cover for myself and my family and I have been so surprised at how much they actually cover. I had always heard that it isn't worth it to be privately covered but after the recent birth of my son we found out just how much we saved by being in the fund. Also all our optical and dental expenses would have cost us a fortune this year but so far they have all been covered. As for their customer service, I simply can't fault them. The staff at HCF are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and most of all helpful. I highly recommend to anyone looking for private health cover!

Handy branch, central location, sometimes need to wait a bit to be serviced, nice staff usually very helpfull

Great staff both in the branch and the call centre. The Call Centre is open 7 days a week so with my busy life am always able to ge in touch with a real person who is in Sydney.

Is reliable although it's been a while since I was a member I still believe them to be the best tried and true rather than new

I have been a member of HCF for 5 years now, and have found them to be the best health insurance out there. They offer great value for money and their customer service is exceptional. When you call them you actually speak to someone in a branch, not some call centre staff.

Found them via iselect and have been a member for not even 6 months. In true health fund style, I received a letter yesterday telling me my premiums are going up by over $5 per month. I expect I'll get one of these every 2 months until I can't afford health insurance anymore...
