GJ's Discount Fabrics, Brunswick East

Referred to GJ's by a friend who makes costumes - great selection of stage fabrics and trims, reasonable prices too! There's a heap of furniture and quilting fabrics for those interested, definitely a good place to check out for stuff you cannot get at other fabric stores

Lots of variety, the assistance was average, all fabric shops have the same old snooty workers. but other then that its good! The range is good and they can order from a large supplier

Have been to many fabric shops and this place is one of the best. Always busy, I waiting to be served, start to talk to one customer who traveled all the way from Noble Park to this place. Because they are good at their job and cheap. Their products are very good quality.

I love going into the shop and just browse around, I always come out buying something. I travel from Bendigo just to go to this fabric shop.

A wide variety of fabrics available with bargains available all the time. Staff provide great assistance as they are very knowledgable about the many different aspects of sewing and other crafts.

Massive range for whatever you want in fabric and its cheap! Shop around and then come here. It's so worth the drive. I was referred here by my sewing teacher and I would always go there when I wanted to make anything new.

This shop is fantastic for all types of fabric, but particularly quilting fabrics and "dance/party" fabrics. There is three levels - the bottom level being the "dance/party" fabrics, the middle level being all remnants and seriously cheap fabrics (all sorts here from woolen suiting fabric to lycra and leather!), then the top floor is all quilting fabrics. They have some very cheap quilting fabrics, but they're all great quality.
