Hubby & I were holidaying in Tassie recently, & this was our first lunch there. What a fantastic place. We had a seafood platter; none of this frozen calamari, fish fillets or store bought tartare sauce here, no sirree! It had the best selection we've ever had on a seafood platter. the octopus was to-die-for...one type was pickled & the other was done in a bar-b-q type sauce. The Moroccan/Middle Eastern style calamari was my favourite, as soft as marshmallows, along with the best hand cut chips I've had since my Uncle & Aunt closed their fish shop, 15 years ago. At first glance, $66 seemed a little pricey for a platter with no lobster on it, but mark my words, for the quality & quantity of food on that platter, $66 was a bargain. If you're visiting Burnie, you just HAVE to try this place!!
