This might be the only fondue restaurant in Brisbane. Remember back in the 80s when fondues were popular. Okay so we didn't have the fondue as a main, but savoury crepes were excellent. The dessert fondue was okay.

Mouthwatering food and delectable desserts! Friendly service and cozy Swiss café style atmosphere. Even has cute toys at the tables for the little ones.

This cafe sounded interesting as I had never had swiss food before besides having on occasion a fondue. We decided against the fondue as my wife and her friend didn't feel like a cheese overload. However we were all a bit disappointed in our meals. The fondue is their feature and hopefully it is something they do well. I would likely come back to try to fondue to see if that does better than the other meals. This is a good place to check out for something a little bit different but I was quite disappointed with my experience.

Went here for the first time last night and was amazed. The service was absolutely amazing. Even though they had a large booking of 50 people inside, we didn't have to wait long and the staff were so friendly. The food was delicious and was very authentic, and the prices were reasonable. Will definitely be back!

This little swiss restaurant is quite cute. The fit out is very quaint but in need of abit of renovation although the food is quite amazing. We always enjoy having the fondu, the cheese fondu is to die for! Also the chocolate fondu is equally as tasty with a selection of fruit and meringues to dip in the delicious chocolate! Although I would say the meals are very expensive, the service is average and if you have a larger party they you have to order the meat fondu before arrival. Other than that, I always enjoy eating here.

Sounds like an interesting and fun place, something different from the usual.

I was a bit underwhelmed when we turned up for dessert. The service is a bit dry and uninviting and could be improved. The creme caramel was awesome! Lots of sauce and served with a big dollop of fresh cream. I also ordered a cappuccino but it was undrinkable because it tasted scorched.

I'd return to try some of the other menu items, perhaps for dinner, but I'd really like to feel more welcomed next time.

I went here about a year ago and had a very nice meal with some friends. My friends ordered cheese fondue and they said it was awesome: they had bread and fresh vegetables to dip into their own fondue made up of three very quality cheeses. It is a bit classy so was also a bit pricey.

I've had the pork with pear and roquefort here twice as it is so delicious. The meal arrived very quickly and the wine was good too. Service was very great. Decor could do with a bit of modernising/refreshing. The menu was a bit pricey, but delicious nonetheless. Would recommend :)

First time having fondue. Ordered meat fondue - not what I was expecting - the fondue broth was thin and didn't flavor the meat at all - I guess I was expecting it would be gravy like. The fondue came with 3 sauces and I especially liked the Bearnaise. The rosti was nice. The price was not cheap but it was a fun experience. Would like to come back to try the cheese fondue sometime.

A must at Des Alpes is the delicious three-course fondue party! Starting with cheese fondue for entree, then meat as main, and finishing off with chocolate this meal is one that will have you wishing that you'd worn looser pants. Really good for a family celebration or a date as sharing the fondue creates quite a social relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately the service isn't great, I have found that it is better not to go on a Friday or Saturday night as it can be a bit slow. Heads up - fondue party needs to be booked 24 hours before attendance when you make your reservation.
