This is a regular brekkie meeting place for a few of us who used to work together. Best coffee around and great food and service. Open from 8am which is really convenient.

My daughter had a formal hair and make up done recently and we were both made to feel so welcome. Hair and make up looked fantastic and I had a coffee and lunch whilst I waited - doesn't get any better than that!

I have been to this cafe but I have never been to the salon. I find the cafe a comfortable place with adequate sitting and the atmosphere is quite pleasant. The staff seem to do their jobs but that's about all. There is no extra friendliness or customer service. This is quite acceptable until you do go to a cafe where there is staff that do that extra little bit. Unfortunately Debarge is not one of those cafes.

Debarge saved my Wedding Day! At the last minute my hair and makeup artist pulled out they fitted me in in the morning and did an amazing job they were so professional when helping out with great advice and listened to exactly what I wanted they were amazing. The hairdressers are all so talented. I can not recommend them more highly for a wedding or any special event. The manager even came in on her day off and when she was sick!

This is a nice modern salon with all the mod cons. Cafe out the front, massaging chairs and staff that know what they are doing. You pay for it though. I find it just too expensive to get a cut and colour (over $200) for my mid length hair.

Booking is also a pain, you need to book way ahead, alright if you are organised but I am not. I also find, as with all salons that I have been to, they cut hair sometimes 2 clients at once and answer the phones as well. Annoying. I want to be made feel special. I don't here.

Debarge is a very professional hair salon in a suburban shopping strip. As well as the hair salon at the back of the store, there is a cafe at the front of the store, so as you are having your done, you are always offered the opportunity to order a drink from the cafe. There is nearly always someone on the front desk and if there isn't, a staff member is at the desk about 2 seconds after you walk in. All the staff are extremely polite and friendly and the owner is always on the floor and often at the front desk and answering the phone. Charges are about standard, but good value for money, as they listen to what you want so you always get a quality cut. A range of hair products are available at the store and while the staff will explain what they do and what may be best for you, there is no pressure to buy. Bookings can be made at Debarge over the phone and once they have your last name they will look you up on the computer so they have your history. You can then book with the last person who cut your hair or ask for someone new. There are are massage chairs for when your hair is being washed and the capes to protect your clothes are all encompassing and even cover a large pregnant belly easily. The venue is clean and welcoming and a bit funky, the atmosphere is relaxed, all the staff look like they enjoy their job and most of the them are happy to have a chat while cutting your hair, or will leave you alone so you can read if that is what you desire. I love this hair salon and this is the only place I go to get my hair done.
