Terrible! Put car in for a 115,000 service which required a fuel filter and cabin filter change, neither of these were done. Was charged $338 for just a filter and oil change, apparently! Nothing else was done. When we called up to complain about the correct service not being carried out we were told by the female receptionist that were not aware it was a log book service. She then agreed it was their mess up apologised and said bring it back and we will do the service it was booked in for and wanted another $338. This made me suspicious so I checked the oil when I got home and it was totally black, I don’t believe this was even changed. I have used Dave Hopkins regularly over the years but never again. Just had next service done at Auto Masters and they are fantastic, $240 (so much cheaper) and the oil is like new oil (gold colour) so you can tell it has been changed.

Friendly staff, gave my old car the once over and found more than I bargained for, but I was glad that Dave could fit me in on short notice :)
I will now be a returning customer and would recommend this business to every one.

Had to have my brakes done immediently and they were able to squeeze us in. I have found my new forever mechanic! They are always professional, friendly and always go above and beyond.

As a female who has been ripped off my mechanics before, I was always wary and ready to have my wallet destroyed, but Dave and his team have made me feel welcome and calm and not like I need to take out a loan to fix my car.
I know that when they say "this needs fixing" it actually does and they never charge like wounded bulls! Basically, you can trust these guys!

Look, honestly, my last mechanic would charge $900 for brakes that weren't squealing. Dave charged me $600 and my brakes were BAD!!

I have been looking for the longest time for a great mechanic that does what they say they will do. FAST service and fantastic outcome Dave and his team were friendly and easy to talk to from the boss to the staff working on the cars. Fantastic value for money. As it is for the family car quality was a must… OHHH and they delivered!!!

This business is very efficient and honest when repairing and or servicing vehicles. As a female i find some mechanics only too willing to rip you off. i have been using Dave for many years and his friendly manner puts me at ease. His prices are realistic

Great trustworthy people. Took my car in and they had it sorted in no time. Very reliable, had a service there not long ago and will be gong back there from now on.

About time finding a friendly and customer orientated service. Am More then happy with the service i received. Will be going back for sure. From the friendly Receptionist to the well written and descriptive report presented to me upon completion of service, should have been using these guys years ago.

These guys are brilliant and don't talk down to us girls! They have managed to perform miracles with my old bomb. Last time I everyone I knew said my car couldn't be fixed and that I was going to have to pay a fortune, but they replaced my starter motor and it's been right as rain since. I've been going so long, that they know what car I drive as soon as I tell them my name! I like the fact the person who works on your car, lets you know what they have done and if anymore work is needed.

five star rating service for the last 20 years, if I had an urgent problem he would always try to fit me in to his work schedule if possible and always advises me if something needs attention before doing the extra work
