Came here with a friend last weekend after reading great reviews online. They do have an extensive menu but the servings were pretty small and not so great for the high price. Toast was a bit overcooked so it was quite dry and poached eggs weren't very runny in the middle. Some confusion with my friend's order. The coffee was good so I'd go back just for coffee but probably not for breakfast again.

Approximate cost: $15-20

very hip and trendy cafe near the station so was really easy to get to - only catch is on prime brunch times it gets busy so more often than not you have to wait

they serve almost everything from coffees to bakes goods and brunch foods all seem fresh and do taste pretty good

Great food and coffee. You'll need to wait for a table, even before work during the week (after 9 its much quieter). On a weekend expect to wait 30mins at least. Food makes up for it though - cracking eggs and pancakes were super sweet and just what i needed to kill a hangover. I thought the staff were a little bit too cool when we walked in but they were pretty friendly. And hey, what can you expect from a trendy cafe in armadale. Overall, I enjoyed the food very much and would definitely go back.

A great cafe that is definitely 'the' place to be seen for breakfast. The wait for a table is generally at least half an hour, but the service is great and they keep you informed of your progress. Everything on the menu is delicious but I can never go past the pancakes, they're sensational! A great place to meet your girlfriends for brunch and enjoy people watching!

A nice airy, bright cafe in the middle of the residential area , tucked away from the hustle and bustle of other busy streets/roads also situated in a great location right next to Armadale station. This is the second time I have been here. The first time a group of us had breakfast and we were all impressed with the meals. Today I had the lunch "special"- lamb tangine with jasmine rice- very yummy, fragrant/aromatic although the coffee wasn't the best this time. This can happen sometimes so it wont put me off for next time as the owners seem happy to please and friendly staff. Food is yummy, well presented and comparatively priced with other cafes offering the same quality fare. Will definitely go back and try some of the other menu items.

We like to travel to places for breakfast and this one was next on our list. The cafe is quite small and tables close to each other, we got a seat but others left as there was no room. The interior is cute and french chic. Water in a jug was given as soon as we sat down which was excellent. The window was open and unfortunately there were flies everywhere which made it difficult to eat without swatting them away. I ordered a chai and poached eggs with fetta, mushrooms and tomatos. Chai was divine and the breakfast itself was good. My pet hate is waitresses bringing a meal and leaving the other waiting, also taking one plate away when the other person is still eating. It's like saying hurry up...$50 for 2 breakfasts, skinny latte and chai. Still searching for an outstanding place but I would come here for the chai !!

Hidden in the leafy suburbs of Armadale, this little gem of a cafe in it's quirky old building is a breath of fresh air. Very popular with the locals, so you have to get in early to avoid disappointment of having to wait a long time.

i agree it's quite quirky, almost a 'hipster' vibe to it

Awesome breakfast and coffee! My favourite is the cured salmon with poached eggs and smashed avocado. It is always really busy so be prepared to wait or go early.

Heard about this place from a friend and then popped onto WOMOW to read their great reviews. Went here on a Sunday with a friend for brekky. We heard that they get very busy and when we arrived at the cafe around 9:30am, there was already a group of people waiting outside for a table! We waited for around 20 mins, which I felt was pretty long but was well worth it.
I had the Coin Laundry breakfast, which had two perfectly poached eggs and baby spinach on crunchy sourdough bread, with crispy bacon on the side, grilled roma tomotoes, creamy smashed avocado and grated beetroot. It was absolutely superb! We didn't have to wait that long for the meals to come out as well, and the coffee was great! Possibly the best breakfast I've had!
As I've said, the wait might put people off, but the food will make you forget all about it. They also have a lunch menu, so will give that a try next time.
Located right outside Armadale Station (Pakenham/Cranbourne/Frankston line), it's a great breakfast place. Will definitely be back!

I've already heard lots of good things about this place and based on all of the reviews I've just read I'll definitely have to try it out now! :) Since it sounds like it gets pretty busy, do you know if you can book a table in advance?

Hi sonieee! Sorry, but I'm not exactly sure if you can book in advance. Might have to give them a call to see.

Went here for brunch today with a friend, great location - so easy to get to, adjacent to Armadale Station. Heard great things about this place and we weren't disappointed. Delicious coffee and my meal, the potato croquettes, beetroot relish, pickled zucchini topped with smoked trout and a poached egg was DIVINE.

Coin Laundry is very busy and our second coffees took a while to arrive, but given the number of people who were there, our meals arrived very promptly. Price is standard if you expect to get such great cafe fare. Will definitely go back, especially to try the French Toast.

Approximate cost: $14-18
