I must write a review. Things went horribly wrong on the day. The event had a start time of 12.30pm with hot nibbles to be served at 12.40pm as our 60 plus guests arrived. The caterer pulled up at 12.30pm. The savory nibbles were not served to our guests on arrival but cooked and WE ended up serving them to our hungry guests at their seats. We ordered the wedding banquet. We eventually got a second class meal at 2.30pm instead of 1pm. No service staff came, only two men cooking and the family were running around serving and helping the caterer. If we had not done this the meal would have been later. The food seemed thrown together. A lot of it was served in the plastic and the foil containers that it was bought or cooked in. I assume this was to save time. I appreciate the efforts the boys made because some food is better than no food. They gave us a 10% discount but we did not get 90% of what we paid for. This was an important day for our family. It turned out to be extremely stressful and we had to keep apologizing to our guests. It was embarrassing for the family. I will be contacting head office this week and will see how our situation is handled. Mistakes happen but the after sales service will be the test of a quality company. I will post another review and let you know how things went.

In the interest of balance on this review site I feel I have to share our not so good experience of a 50th birthday party lunch for 67 guests.
• It was about 2.30pm before we got our main meal (an hour later than we had ordered)
• We got beef not the lamb we had ordered and the beef was very tough
• We didn't get the citrus tart we ordered as a dessert
• The Waldrof salad was served at dessert time
• The desserts were put on the serving table but with no implements provided for people to serve themselves

I just wanted to say thank you for the fabulous food and service that we received.
We booked you for our under 16 Footy dinner held last weekend.
The food was that good that the boys went back for
2nds and 3rd's! Dessert barely got onto the tables too!
It was that good that there was barely anything left over

Aaron was amazing very professional and friendly, nothing was a problem for him.

I will defiantly recommend you guys to everyone.

The staff at coast to coast the golden roast newcastle, were friendly efficient and professional, my guests and I couldn't fault the quality and quantity of food served at my birthday, I couldn't recommend them highly enough. I will never cater my own party ever again, the cost is well worth it, its the only party I have hosted that i haven't been stressed about feeding everyone and had a chance to mingle with all my guests.

I really enjoyed the great service and amazing food at my 80th last week. The chef Sean, was an absolute dish. He can serve me a large piece of tender meat any time! We all had a great time and all my guests were very impressed with the food. I highly recommend coast to coast for your next party. Do yourself a favour and ask for Sean ;)

They catered a staff party for my school, we found the food to be delicious and reasonably priced, the staff both friendly and fast. We will definitely be using them again.

I wanted to say thank you so much for helping to make my 60th birthday such a wonderful event. So many of my family and guests commented on how nice Shaun (Sean) was on the evening. So friendly, courteous & helpful and yet unassuming. He went about his duties quietly and efficiently and I'm only sorry that I didn't get around to thanking him personally. I believe my husband, Mark, spoke to him several times – all complimentary!
So please pass on my compliments to Shaun. The food was delicious and plentiful and we will certainly be recommending you to our family and friends in the future. Thank you again
