The place for chocoholics in Adelaide .. such a great location too, Glenelg is very nice. Their hot chocolates and truffles are amazing.

Another Jetty Road stop was Bracegirdle's, not for hot chocolate but for coffee. A great SA store with friendly service and plenty of seating. Great coffee too.

This is a great place on a wintery day to warm up with hot chocolate drinks. They are really chocolaty and warming. Upstairs area to sit in too if you wish. There a lots of chocolate treats available here. Coffee is also served if you need a coffee fix

Pretty much chocolate heaven. There are so many decadent and rich desserts and drinks that when my partner and I decide to go here, we literally don't have dinner so we can splurge and not feel as guilty getting dessert and a drink and not feel too full. The hot chocolates are the real thing, not just cheap powdery cocoa with hot water but melted chocolate. The smoothies are also rich and creamy if you're after a cold drink. The fondues are fun to share.

Oh my goodness, Bracegirdles! What a wonderful place. The delicious, thick, hot chocolate that's not like other hot chocolates because it's literally made from liquid milk or dark chocolate with milk... the baguettes and snacks... the beautiful, jewel-like hand-made chocolates which entice and entrance...

Bracegirdles has rightly won a brace of awards for these things.

Their rooms and decor, as well as their customer service are all great too!

I regularly meet a couple of friends at Bracegirdle's and it's always something to look forward to. We love their little hand-made chocolates and I can never go past their milk hot chocolate. Absolutely heavenly!!! Although they are on the pricey side compared with many other cafes, but you pay for quality. Love the sofa in the window.

It's hard to get past their hot chocolate to try other things; it's that good. Their chocolates are heavenly and the snacks are fine - fairly typical but perhaps a little over-priced? Lovely setting with a pair of sofas in the window so you can watch the Jetty Road walkers etc. Peaceful, friendly and delicious chocolate!

I had a fantastic experience here from the minute I walked through the door to the moment I left. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The premises was clean and well presented. Tables were cleared quite quickly after people left. I would highly recommend the house made fruit toast. It was so filling that I had to take one of my pieces home with me. The skinny latte that I had to accompany my fruit toast was lovely as well. Overall this place is value for money and I will definitely head there again in the future.

Having an extreme sweet tooth, I felt that this would be a place for me. Oh yes, I was in heaven. Chocolates Galore. So much to choose from is the only issue I had. Although I have to say I did have to wait quite some time to be served as they were so busy - it was worth the wait. Also love their hot chocolate, kids also really enjoyed themselves. I definitely recommend to all the CHOCOLATE LOVERS our there.

Approximate cost: $15+

I see everyone below badgering on how good this place is. And while yes I agree that their chocolates are superb, at times the line-up and 'pushing around' to get a seat leaves a lot to be desired. As the patronage of the place continues to fill, the wait times continue to increase.

It's good if you have the whim and whistle to while the time away, but if you're new to the place and just want to see what this place is all about, then you're in for a wait.

Otherwise, I see nothing exceptional about the service here. They do what they have to do per a normal run shop.
The prices are on par with all other chocolate shops. What makes this one better than the Bracegirdles on Greenhill Rd? I actually quite like the one in McLaren Vale in terms of atmosphere and ambiance, although it's a little further out.

But if you do have the patience and temperance to endure, then the wait is worth the effort. Enjoy their chocolatey goodness and be ready to open your wallet/purse time and time again.

Approximate cost: $avg
