Enjoyed fish and chips from this very popular take away store. Freshly cooked and served by a pleasant staff member. Usually ring my orders in so that I can just wait a few minutes. Great range of takeaway foods including chicken dishes and salads.

After reading so many great reviews, I finally treated my family to some chicken and chips, the chicken was quite large and the chips, well, just perfect. Purchased a couple of salads aswell. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious and all served with a friendly smile.

It was so busy, I was amazed at how quickly our food was ready. Within 15 minutes I was out the door. Will have to try their fish and burgers next time, as I am sure they will be fabulous.

Popped into this chicken shop on the way home and bought a chicken and some chips. The chicken was large, well cooked and tasty. The chips were as usual cooked to perfection. The store also have other takeaway items and they cook fish very well too. A range of salads are also available as well as drinks. Clean and friendly store that takes pride in what they do.

This is another great chicken and seafood shop. I guess it would be my favourite one as it is the closest to home. Always friendly and helpful service and willing to cut the chicken into portions if required. Nicely cooked fish and chips too. For the days when you are at home but need to go and buy takeaway.

My friend goes here often so on our way back to his place we picked up some fish and chips. I will say that I was impressed, the fish tasted so fresh, didn't have an oily taste and the chips certainly were crisp - the way I like them. Loved the calamari rings, everything tasted so fresh and crisp, cannot faulty anything. Prices are so reasonable especially if you buy one of their seafood or chicken packs.

The service was very friendly and reasonalby quick under the circumstances - this is a busy place and I can understand why - fabulous, fresh food.

Will definitely be returning, definitely recommend as you will not be disappointed.

While our visitors from Europe have been here we have two meals of seafood from here. Fish and chips both grilled and battered on the first night. They were fresh and well cooked and not at all greasy. Next day our daughter and son in law came back at lunch time with a seafood pack. Prawns,calamari scallops and fish. Although it was their lunch they lost some of it to us. (We had already said we had eaten) This shop is always packed with people at meal times ordering their takeaway food.

Our son's favorite place for chips and gravy. Crispy chips fried to perfection with tasty rich gravy. Service is generally friendly and welcoming but they can be very busy at times, especially after school which can mean a bit of a wait for your order.

Service can be a little slow, but that has more to do with how busy they are than anything else. Being busy means they are well liked & great food :)

My experience is different to that of the other reviewers. It is definitely not our favourite fish/chicken shop in Blackwood. My family went here one night to try it. The wait was very long and personally I found the customer service to be less than I expected. Perhaps I came on an off night, but the staff were not very cheery. The place looks old - it clearly hasn't been renovated in a while and just felt a bit depressing sitting on the bench line. The chips were not great and neither were the fish and chicken. My family decided to stick to our usual chicken shop.

A very good shop with great food. The chicken and chips are the best in the area without a doubt. The chips are golden and crunchy on the outside but still soft and moist on the inside. The service is great and you are welcomed with friendliness when entering the store. Definitely recommend a visit.
