I ordered 2 books to be delivered in two days time, at less than half the price of similar services. Okay, they came in three days time, but what a service! The books were in perfect condition. $6.50 for 2 day delivery Australia-wide, no matter how big your order is. I also got e-mail notification to let me know how the delivery was being processed.

Apparently you can also pick your books up from the factory.

I am a regular with these guys, you can earn points as well by going through WDYT website. The delivery time is swift and they always have specials on, so whilst I don't buy everything I want at the time, I guarantee I can get it at some point! Fantastic online bookstore where you can also do a pick up if you are passing nearby. :)

Fabulous online bookseller with a fabulous range, all at discount prices. I bought the Underwater Dogs book as a Christmas present and it was $12.00 cheaper than in the shops even with postage and it was sold out just about everywhere else. It arrived in time for Christmas in immaculate undamaged condition. I generally order my books from another site linked to a big well known U.S company and they take months to arrive and are often cancelled last minute due to lack of availability so from now on it is Booktopia for me.

My friend loves it gets all her tarot cards there aswell Its a pretty big sight Abe Books Faster Than Light are also really good aswell You can get new/second hand they often have pictures of the book or a detailed description of its condition like slight marks/fading/spot on page ... etc I got one from there that I had been looking for for years that was no longer in print

Booktopia has a plethora of books at great prices, and delivery is super fast. They seem to encourage reviews as there are heaps, and recommendations are relevant. I purchase tons of books for the kids, and have never had a problem. Excellent!

I just ordered my first book through them at a friends place as she uses it all the time and loves it

I was looking for a book for ages that I could not find anywhere else and that was old

It cost about $15 new from there sight

I also wanted a spacific cover as the book had a few to choose from and I wanted to get the one that I thought best described the book Sadako and the 1000 paper cranes

Some just had eyes/ others had her in the traditional dress holding a paper crane etc

They have great prices, and terrific range of books. I think you can pick up from their local warehouse in Lane Cove or postage is minimal so well worth checking them out.

I really only use this website for the "Reduced to Clear" section as you do have to pay postage - only $6.50 postage for any number of books, but many other sites charge no postage, so be sure to compare before purchasing.

Postage is often quite fast - recently bought books on a Thursday night and they arrived the following Tuesday.

I regularly visit the Booktopia website to check out items in their Clearance section where you can end up getting nearly 90% off the original price.

Postage is fair at a flat rate of $6.50 no matter how many books you purchase.

Great on line bookstore that gives you the option of saving money and waiting time for delivery and picking up your order instead. Good range of books and clearance/discounted items always on sale. Can sometimes be a little slow with back order items that aren't in stock but are great with refunds if you decide you want to cancel an order that is out of stock and hasn't arrived in due time. Postage is very reasonable as they charge per delivery, not per item.

I first started ordering books from this site because there was no shipping fee. then I found many more who have no shipping fee and MUCH better service. I pre-ordered the new Stephen King novel on 26th Jan 2012. It was due to be released 24th April. On the 24th April I saw it in a bookshop in Eastland (Vic) for $7 less than I had already paid. It is now the 29th April and I still have nor received it. I have enquired and got an auto reply back!!!! Saying they had only just got it in. Worst internet Customer Service I have ecer had.

I have been buying from Booktopia online for years. They have brilliant specials, low postage fee (you can't beat $6.50 and be able to buy as many books as you want for one low postage fee). Their customer service is brilliant - you can either phone them or if you send an email they get back to you really quickly and are very helpful. I have nothing but praise for Booktopia

You can actually beat$6.50 delivery. Free postage. I agree these guys have good values, esp with their specials, but you can find better deals. Don't get me wrong they're great, but online bookstore dont' always stock everything that your'e looking for, and prices are different for each shop. This is one of many book stores I use.

You may ask 'why so numerous?'

I simply check for the prices and purchase from which ever gives me the best price.

I'll be honest I dont' always find best prices for all my books from here, but boy, their specials are hard to beat. I check their store every couple of weeks to see what is on special. Perhaps you should do the same.

I do think their strength is with Ebooks, although I've never purchased an ebook yet.

I tend to agree, There is a great website called Betterworld book, which are used books, but in excellent condition (mine had not even been read) Plus every book you buy the donate to ildren in poverty. Try this one too.

I have found Booktopia to be the best online bookstore I have used. They have an enormous range of books at excellent prices, and their delivery is very quick. Even when I bought some books last year near Christmas, I received them only a couple days after I placed the order.

I was having trouble finding a particular book, and came across booktopia.com.au and they stocked the book, and it was in stock, and cheaper then anywhere else I had found the book (all of which were out of stock.) Will definately use again!
