I love Bindi-Eye Bop!!! I discovered it at the Festival Shop at the National Folk Festival in Canberra and immediately saw its potential for use in school. As a primary teacher, I am always on the look out for new songs that can be linked to the curriculum and used as performance pieces for assemblies and events. Bindi-Eye Bop is wonderful becuse it has Australian content, an environmental focus, links easily to the curriculum and is fun and extremely catchy! My classes have loved singing the songs over the years and have loved performing Bindi-Eye Bop and Step Right Out. I am using the song Drip Drop this year to complement our literature program on water and taught the bilby song earlier in the year at Easter time. My class also love the paleontologist song. It is a wonderful resource that I would highly recommend! :)

Dear 5W Members,
Are there any Mothers, Grandmothers, Aunties, Sisters who would like to buy a great little book and CD for children, written by Margaret Bradford, Sydney member, musician, composer and writer who recently played her guitar and sang at a luncheon for the members. If so, please contact Margaret.
In friendship, Coral

Children absolutely love this CD. Songs like I want to be a Paleantologist and the Tyrannasouras Rex song are definate hits with my young boys. The songs are catchy and have such a uniquely Australian flavour, this CD is both educative and fun. Whilst I am Margaret's daughter and might be biased, I also know of many friends' children enjoying the songs immensely too.

I gave Bindi-Eye Bop to my grandchildren who dance round the house singing her songs. Catchy, honest and memorable.

An absolutley beautifully illustrated book with funny, easy to sing along songs with a message and creative colourful drawings with so much love for the detail.
My children even sing these earcatchers without holding on to the book. I highly recommend this book, it is special

Margaret Bradford's book and CD, Bindi-eye Bop, are fantastic! The music gets your toes tapping as the lyrics speak of honoring oneself and the earth.
As a teacher I have used Bindi-eye Bop with my young students and they always enjoy the experience, and not only that, the lyrics get through to them about how important these values are.
Being in the United States Ms. Bradford's material also gives me a great introductory tool to open dialogue about different cultures in different countries, and the exotic wildlife which lives in Australia, with my students.
The illustrations in the book by Janet Selby grab the children's interest and hold it. All around a fantastic book and collection of delightful songs.
How much fun the children have (and their parents when they stop in to observe the class) as they learn such important values of respect for themselves and each other and our earth, which are so often overlooked in our modern world.
Bravo Ms Bradford for creating such an impressive and valuable contribution to the lives of so many, in such an entertaining and delightful way.
