Belmondo Ristorante, Holden Hill

Unfortunately on my first visit to this restaurant with friends I was quite disappointed. While the food was tasty, it was overpriced and we waited over an hour after ordering for our meals to arrive. When the meals did finally arrive, one had been completely forgotten and the rest of us had finished eating before it came out (a free drink was offered as compensation). I found that staff weren't very attentive and the restaurant was overcrowded making it difficult for us to get in an out of our seats. When we came to pay for our meals, the restaurant refused to accept our Entertainment Book vouchers as it was under new management. They did however allow us to split the bill... but then mixed up the payments and attempted to double charge us for one of the meals.

Overall a very disappointing and unimpressive experience!

The value for money in steaks here is tremendous. Love some red meat and this restaurant has the best. Always fresh and cooked exactly as ordered. BYO so I can take a wine from my cellar and enjoy without doing the cooking

This is the first time I have been to this restaurant and I cant fault a thing. Service was wonderful, very friendly genuine staff.

Food was wonderful . I had the Atlantic salmon special served with broccolini and beans- yum. We went in a large group and everyone enjoyed their meal. Easy parking and would definitely recommend

Really love this place, one of my favorites, great for gluten free, will adapt any meal. My pollo avocado was great, the tiramisu was yum, service very attentive, my hubby loved his veal avocado and dessert, always a winner.

While the prices here may not be the cheapest, especially when compared to other suburban place, the quality is great. The steaks and the pizzas are some of the best in Australia. The wine list is reasonable, and the staff are quite nice. Highly recommended.

This place is in the suburbs and is a little gem. I absolutely love the pizza and all the main courses. One day I might try dessert.

great italian wood oven pizza, the pizzialo (the guy that makes the pizza is a great asset to this restaurant........)the best pizza base with great toppings and the taste of the wood fire.......bellissimo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also all the other meals cooked by the chef are wonderful.

Wow wow wow. The food is amazing - regardless what you order. Beautiful, authentic italian meal, have to try!

The food here was great, veal was lovely. However I felt that the service let them down. For the price you are paying, I expected a little more.

These guys are amazing, awesome food and great wait staff. We always have several courses, and although they are a bit big, we always enjoy them....
