We go here every year for my partners Christmas on he's boss of course and have a great time every time the food is 5 star and the staff are great always make sure we have. Drink in our hands the atmosphere is fantastic they have the famous venassa amrossie's father sing every year for the entertainment by far the best place for large group bookings

The dining room & atmosphere were set out nicely. The staff were professional, & prompt with their service. The food was nice, but maybe not enough variety on the menu. I used to go to the Argentinian Grill, but it is a shame that has now closed down. The restaurant was very nice, but I would prefer to take my family to the Grill if they ever brought it back.

Food is fantastic. At the grill it is buffet style and there is meat on a spit carved fresh onto your plate. All food appears fresh and is well displayed. The drinks can be on the expensive side though.

Ballarat Lodge is a motel, convention centre, wedding reception and restuarant. I recently went to the restuarant for a family dinner and it was really lovely food, although an expensive meal for a family with not a lot catered for kids. My meal was lovely and there was a pretty good selection of food for a range of tastes (for adults). I have also been to the Argentinian Grill (Fridays and Saturdays) and the food is devine. The meat is so tender. It is a buffet set up and they cut the meat you want straight off the bone and then you choose vegetables, salad and desert. I was so full, I couldn't go back for seconds or desert.
