I recently went here for my son's 2nd birthday with the family, the kids and i loved it. We got to buy 2 x$1 kangaroo food bags and actually got to go up to the small kangaroos to feed them. They were very human friendly and cute. My daughter had an emu follow her around everywhere because they knew she had food that was so funny, she got scared everytime one snucked behind her and screamed. They didnt have as much animals like you would at the zoo but it was a family friendly place to go to and interact with. We also got to see and pat the koala's that day. They also had a playground with a few slides, swings and see saw. The kids enjoyed the day as much as i did. Would recommend anyone who hasnt gone to go there for a day.

If you want to have a nice day out with family or friends, than this is it. The Australian Reptile Park has a variety of different animals ranging from snakes and spiders to alligators and kangaroos. This is a lovely day out in nature with shows that you can even go to and learn more about the animals or simply to watch a feeding. They even have a picnic area, so you can sit and have lunch and a relax while enjoying the scenery. Great day out, have been many times and plan to go many more times.

A lovely park with a large amount of different animals. Snakes and spider pavilion was terrific. Able to see animals clearly but kept natural as much as possible. Amenities were clean. Great play area and shop also. Staff very friendly with talks at specific times very informative and funny. They all got children involved. Highly recommend taking the whole family or overseas visitors.

Great place to take the kids out for the day. Love seeing my cousins faces light up over all the different reptiles available to look at. Great shows put on for family and reasonable entry price. Recommended to anyone looking to take the family out for the day.

... Its a great place to take the family, the kids are able to get up close to the animals and even feed them. My kids got to hold a Koala that was a special moment. There is a big variety of different animals to see, so it makes for one exciting day. I was amazed at how well the park is set up it has way more animals than I thought it would. This will for sure be on the cards for another visit.

This was the highlight of our holiday . Don't be put off by the name , there are also lots of other animals . The animals were all kept in really beautiful natural settings. There has been a lot of work put into the landscaping , spectacular. We went on a Saturday and although it was very busy , it never seemed overcrowded. There are different shows and animals ,with a focus of course on reptiles spread throughout the day , with plenty of time in between to look at the different enclosures and exhibits . The keepers are entertaining as well as being informative . They have reptiles here that you will not see anywhere else in Australia. For some reason on the day we went I got to see koalas like I have never seen before , even the keepers were surprised. They were swinging around , running around the enclosure , amazing , they were so excitable. There are opportunities to touch some of the animals and no hard pressure sell on photos. I really enjoyed the birds , particularly the owls and I loved the dingoes. There are kangaroos grazing , a peaceful bush walk, bbqs and a kiosk. We took our own food . There were lots of local and overseas visitors. The park also plays a vital role collecting venom for our hospitals and are involved in breeding programmes. One of the best animal parks I have ever been to. We had recently visited Taronga zoo in Sydney , and I would rate our experience here higher . Well worth the visit. Easy access for wheelchairs and strollers , great family day . Can't remember entry fee but, do remember being pleasantly surprised .

I have taken my children here a few times now. The park is so kid-friendly and there are gorgeously placed outdoor picnic tables under shady trees for those who want to use the provided seating - or you could bring a picnic rug. We used the picnic tables. Bringing your own food is by far the very best option as I have to admit their food is a failure and a flop. Everything else is fantastic. Luckily this place isn't about the food at their onsite kiosk - it's about the park itself - the animals and the chance to pat them and learn about them and see them right up close. It's a fantastic set-up of native animals. There is a lovely walk that we take when we go on a boardwalk between the trees which guides the visitor through to all the outdoor animals on display. My children love playing with, feeding and patting the friendly wallabies that freely roam around the playgroud. Fantastic playground by the way! We find it easy to relax up there and enjoy watching the children enjoy themselves. It makes a great family day out and it's well worth the money. My best tip: Bring your own picnic and a picnic rug in case it's a busy day and all the picnic tables are taken.

Plenty of parking which is great. The weekends have more 'talks' about the animals. We visited on Eric the croc's 60th birthday once (he's since died) and there was free birthday cake in the shape of a crocodile. He tasted good!!

Keep an eye out for specialty days like this for the little extras but if you're after a quieter day out with the family, aim for a weekday - you'll probably have most of the park to yourself!

The park is clean and loaded with information which my academic children love to learn when we go. It's nice and close to us so that's good for us as we sometimes don't want to have to travel too far. This is only 10 minutes from us and we love the bush setting.
