I've been to Aum Shanti twice, for a cuppa and cake, and you are right - the staff are friendly and helpful. I also bought a lovely scarf there!

Really enjoyed my unplanned stop in here! They were very busy so we were lucky to get a table (4 of us). Staff were very friendly and helpful! My friend is vegan so she was loving it but the rest of us meat eaters found something on the menu to enjoy so win win! The pizzas are great as are the wraps and coffee. Loved the artwork! Will be back!

This place is great. Lots of art on the walls and free trade items for sale. Very interesting and eclectic place to relax in. The food is vegetarian but WOW they do a great job on making it interesting, tasty and almost convincing me to give up meat. There is a lot of choice and the service and presentaton is excellent and the atmosphere great. A fav place in Frankston.

This place is an oasis in Frankston. The food is outstanding by any measure, the service is friendly and the vibe is like nothing else that exists in Frankston. My husband and I are both vegan so we're in our element there, but everyone will find something delicious there. If you're a carnivore, try the shiitake mushroom pie - it's incredible and you won't even notice you're not eating meat!

I had driven past this cafe several times before I finally made the effort to stop in, now I'm a regular customer. I love, love, love this cafe! My (vegan) eldest daughter and I often stop in for lunch or just a (soy) coffee when we are shopping in Frankston and some mornings I sneak off by myself for a coffee (non soy!) and one of their DELICIOUS vegan cupcakes. I"m not a vegan myself, but these cupcakes are just so yummy that I order one anyway. They have a decent selection of 'eat in' food, usually 3 kinds of salads, individual pizzas (homemade and can be made vegan), wraps, falafels (YUM!!), burgers, pies and sometimes daily specials. The best thing for me is it's all vegetarian and all really, really tasty. They have 4 tables and 3 stools at the window table inside and 2 more tables outside. Be warned though, if you're planning on stopping in for lunch (and you really should) the inside tables are often booked out. I usually sit outside or try to get there outside the usual 12 to 2ish lunch times. They also have a range of eco-friendly clothing, some jewellery, gifts and a selection of fair trade coffees and teas to buy too. The staff are lovely, the atmosphere is friendly and the food is delicious, healthy and really reasonably priced...what's not to love?

Fantastic wholesome cafe, very friendly staff. Great coffee. The best I've tasted in the area. You can have cows milk, soy or rice milk. The organic chai is delicious, service prompt and always with a smile and sometimes a chat too.

Some yum food, although the coffee depends on the person... sometimes the milk gets scalded. But otherwise terrific, great to have a vegetarian cafe in Frankston!
