Yep have to agree, the theatrics are funny as! Definitely worth the money for value. Our chef was awesome and the food is lovely as well. You know its fresh as you see it getting cooked. Overall a good experience with mates.

I went here for my sister's birthday, and we had a terrific eating experience. It was fun, entertaining and family friendly. The chefs are awesome and the pricing is fair. The food was fresh and delicious, I would definitely visit again.

Over the past few years Asahi has been THE place to celebrate birthdays in my circle of friends, as well as many visits in between!!

The set menu is usually the way to go here, as it comes with a great show from your very own chef cooking it up before your eyes...

From the delicious little salad and the tasty miso soup that starts the meal, through the gorgeous seafood and meat it is a night out to be enjoyed...

The fun really starts when the chef begins prepping the fried rice... Firstly with the egg toss, which someone nearly always manages to wear!! And then to the cooked egg that the chef tosses that no one seems to have a big enough mouth to catch!!

It's the place you go to and hope that someone in your group doesn't eat a particular item so that you can have MORE!!

The staff are always busily running around and sometimes a little hard to catch to order a drink... but just remember a little wave is the best way to get their attention... and some things are definitely worth waiting for, especially if you like your Saki!!

Always a great night out... Tasty food... Lovely hospitality... A place to visit time and time again...

This is a very fun place. I love the atmosphere here. We went with a group for my sisters birthday, everyone loved it. I was full after my meal, but some of the guys said they were still a bit hungry. Great for a fun night out. Don't wear your best clothes (food gets thrown at you).

I love this place, i go often when i am with a small group of friends. It's always a good laugh, and the service and food is very good. One of the best teppanyaki places ive been to.

Excellent restaurant that the kids will adore! Fresh produce cooked (and flung!) at your table - don't wear your best outfits and keep your eye on the bowl!

what a great night - we had a great chef who had us laughing the whole night - it was a great experience with great food and great friends - the meals are resonable in price though a few said they were still hungry after but i guess it depends if you class just the meal in the price you pay or the over all experience
