I called About Town Mobile Mechanics Melbourne last week my car had broken down and it wasn't able to be fixed on the side of the road Rob the mobile mechanic was fantastic he organized a tow truck over the phone fast the tow truck picked me and my car up within the hour and dropped it off to my house.

This business has great customer service as it's number 1 priority in mind and can be trusted if you need emergency roadside assistance in Melbourne.

So if you need breakdown towing or a simple jump start or a new car battery you won't find a more honest business than this one!!!

After reading all the glowing reviews about this business, I gave Rob a call.

HOWEVER, HE IS NOW ONLY OFFERING ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE and has declined service and repair work, effective January 2011.

He was very upfront and honest about this, as he was not wishing to take on any new service/repair customers and is trying to (politely) tell his existing customers that he can no longer do their work.

A great pity as he sounded like the mechanic I was looking for. Bugger!

Asked Rob for major service for my bomb. He was polite and well spoken. He explained everything, fixed all the problems I pointed out and picked up on others that I never really noticed cos I don't understand much about cars. He also made recommendations on what to do with my car to keep it running smoothly. What more could a bloke ask for!



Updated: I've driven the car since then and it's very obvious that Rob has done a great job. All the crap I had to put up with has gone. It's a much smoother ride despite still being a bomb.

I got Robert to inspect a car in that I was thinking of purchasing. He provided a very comprehensive and unbias report and went above and beyond the level of service I had expected. I'm so impressed and he has restored my faith in human kind... by the way I didn't end up buying the car... I reckon Robert saved me thousands on future repair bills.

Great Service, very honest, totally trust worthy, I'm a single mother and I know nothing about cars, so to find someone who I can trust is great. Thanks again Rob, the whole family will be using this service from now on.

I don't know about you, but I don't trust mechanics easily! About Town Mobile Mechanics owned by Rob has restored by faith in this service ...well as far as Rob is concerned; can't imagine using anyone else now. Rob is a professional, courteous, respectful, organised and transparent service provider. He arrived within the alloted time range. He gave an informative overview of the work done and the condition of the vehicle. He was transparent and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommendeed.

The service was professional, speedy and highly convenient. The fact that I didn't need to take time off from work was great. Mostly the service was very thorough and the result was very satisfactory. It was a real pleasure driving my car after the service. Everything was fixed and there were recommendations for future services, which are very appreciated.

Now heres a true business, he handed me back my old parts and was quick and efficient. The type of operation you would trust with your nanas car and not worry they are going to rip her blind!! Well done!!
