A great little cafe, lovely to come to for breakfast. The ricotta pancakes are delicious and the crispy hash is to die for. Prices are okay. Staff are attentive and friendly. The cafe also provide blankets if you wish to sit outside. The only overkill is the Italian lady who kept calling us Bella.

Nice place to come for brekkie, great scrambled eggs. Quick service, staff are warm and friendly which I find rare in Brunswick. Tiny bit overpriced but the food is top notch

Henry's beans are to die for. Proper bagels, great coffee, lovely service, free-range foodstuffs and eggs done correctly. Love them.

Excellent coffee, engaged staff, and enjoyable, creative breaky/brunch fare. The decor is light, bright and trendy, set in an old weatherboard house with a line of stools outside on the porch for smokers.

Particular favourites of ours include the corn fritters and quesadilla, which were perfectly cooked tributes to Mexico. The bullseye bagel is also a quirky and delicious take on the tradition breaky roll, featuring grilled ham, spicy relish, rocket and an organic free range poached egg.

The cafe is progressive and generous in that they allow customers with laptops to harness their wireless internet connection and work away uninterrupted over a nice latte.

One quibble: bring back the strawberry pancakes, which from memory were served with strawberry butter, jam and thick cream. They were outstanding. :)

A Minor Place, in my mind, make undoubtedly the best coffee in Melbourne. Located in a very unassuming but intelligent position, A Minor Place offers both indoor and outdoor dining. The meals are fresh, organic and wonderfully tasty. The big breakfast is particularly impressive, especially after a big Saturday night. One of Melbourne's gold nuggets.

A really neat little cafe!! I would recommend it to others without hesitation. The menu seemed to have great variety and the food was great!!! The prices were what you would expect for a good cafe and I would without hesitation go there again.

Great Brunswick cafe. Best coffee in Melbourne brewed by excellent baristas. Service can be a little slow at times but the food is fantastic. Check out the blackboard for soup of the day and other specials, otherwise stick to the classic Minor Breakfast and you'll be set for the rest of your day.

Approximate cost: $15
