The core of our system is the analytical program known as the “Maths Doctor” assessment. This program will identify any knowledge gaps from the past that may be holding your child back. From this information the Maths Doctor then creates an individual lesson plan for your child to target those gaps.
It can be very tough for struggling children to catch up in the classroom. Especially since they tend to be low in confidence. Typically, these children have weak foundations, and they aren’t ready to learn what is being taught in the classroom. We will do an assessment to identify any gaps that are missing, and then create an individual learning plan to enable your child, to quickly catch up to the rest of the class.
Is Average good enough? Because these students have the capacity to be far better than “OK” given the right support. However, without the right support there is a risk that they can fall behind and lose their confidence altogether.
We will assess the strengths and weaknesses of each student, which will identify the topics holding your child back. We will then create an individual leaning plan to correct any problem areas. Once we have caught up, we will commence consolidating what your child is doing in School and start introducing them to new topics, even before they attempt them in class. By combining our Maths and English programs with our tutor’s support, we can ensure your child has all the power they need, to be better than just OK
We will start with an assessment to establish any weaknesses that may be hiding any gaps, and then quickly address these before moving on to more challenging work. Then expediently advancing them through the curriculum at their own pace. Improves confidence and understanding. Great for children in accelerated learning programs. Excellent for Selective School entry preparation. Brilliant for improving their ATAR.
We have had great success with children who have special needs. We have assisted children with Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADD, ADHD, ODD, Autism, Aspergers etc…
Typically, we find these children love technology and respond well to our learning programs. In most cases we will recommend regular short sessions of no longer than 15 to 20 minutes.

A great program that helped my son, who has autism, close his learning gaps. He started at a grade 2 level and after 1 year on the program was at a grade 6 level. It also helped my daughter solidify her knowledge. They loved the incentives as well so it was great motivation for them to complete their lessons each week. The program was so flexible, as I was able to change the number of lessons from time to time if the kids were busy with other commitments. Highly recommend the Maths Wiz and English Wiz program.
The content is relevant to the curriculum the kids have to learn. It’s one of the best ways to keep track of how my child is performing and understands a given topic. There are lots of tutorials incorporated in the learning and there is also a helpline to call if the kids are struggling in certain areas.
