Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I visit a dentist for regular check-ups?

The frequency of your routine check-ups depends on how healthy your teeth and gums are and your risk of future problems.

We recommend seeing a dentist every three to six months for patients at a higher risk of oral diseases and every year for patients at a low risk.

What should I do in case of a dental emergency after hours?

In the event of a dental emergency, call us on 03 9557 0957 immediately so we can arrange your appointment as quickly and conveniently as possible.

What health funds do you work with?

We work with ALL health funds and offer on-the-spot claiming.

Do you offer bulk billing or payment plans?

We offer bulk billing to children eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule and veterans holding a Gold Card or White Card with the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA).

We also offer flexible payment options through HUMM finance, to allow you to have the dental work you need now and pay later, and our own Dental Savings Plan.

Do you treat children, and if so, what age range?

Children's dentistry is one of our specialties: we treat children of all ages.

We recommend starting at around 2.5 years of age. Most children will have a complete set of baby teeth by this time.

Starting early means positive experiences and stress-free dental care from a young age.

Are there parking facilities available at the clinic?

Plenty of parking is available along Centre RD and in the public park next to the Bentleigh Library, immediately behind the clinic.
