I was on my own for the majority of the week as my fiance was having brain surgery at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. The staff are unreal. EVERYBODY was very helpful and friendly. ESPECIALLY the ladies on reception, Ellen and Olivia. Their efficiency, kindness, knowing what to do or help with.. Also the head housekeeper, who was trying so hard to find a mattress protector that I had taken with us to protect their bed in case of an accident, that went missing. Everyone that we dealt with was very professional, but I appreciated the kindness even more so. management, please look after your staff, they are amazing..and over time I have seen some not real pleasant ones. Thank you ladies so very much. Carol room 224.

Very pleasant, nice quiet rooms and within walking distance of many facilities of North Melbourne. Limited on-site food and drink options but the cafe does produce good breakfast

Checking in was not the best especially after 22 hours flights to arrive at the hotel and no room was available until after 3:30 pm. Especially I was promised by the staff at the check-in to receive a call around noon when the room is available. No phone call received or email etc. Until I returned back to the hotel around 3:30 to be able to check in.

Have stayed at larwill previously due to its proximity to RCH. Female receptionist vould do with customer service The room was comfortable however this time we had a shower over a bath which was very slippery & not suitable for us. We weren't aware that all rooms didn't have walk in showers otherwise we would have requested that option. One area that could be improved is the towels as they are small, thin & not at all soft.
