modalities

Chinese medicine is a broad term that encompasses a number of different therapeutic modalities. Karen is trained and qualified to provide treatment and care via:

  • acupuncture (both Chinese and Japanese needling styles)
  • low density laser stimulation (needle-less acupuncture)
  • moxa (heat) therapy
  • Chinese herbal medicine
  • dietary therapy & lifestyle medicine
  • remedial massage and acupressure
  • cupping and gua sha

Scared of needles? You can still experience the benefits of acupuncture. Speak to Karen about using low-density laser stimulation or miniscule pyonex press needles in place of traditional acupuncture if you are highly sensitive or needle-phobic.
