Our team of experts is fluent in the language of care and compassion, helping children develop crucial skills while embracing their diverse linguistic backgrounds.

Speech Pathologist

Denise Chan

Denise has extensive experience working as a paediatric Speech Pathologist in Sydney, Australia. She is passionate about working with preschoolers and school-aged children, using the strength-based and client-centred approaches. She has experience in offering speech pathology service in various ways, including individual and group therapy, capacity building for parents and educators, in-person and telehealth. Denise’s special interests include language, speech sounds, early literacy and working with multicultural families. She is trained in Hanen It Takes Two to Talk® , Sounds Write and Talk for Writing. She is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

 

When she is not at work, she enjoys playing Pokemon Go, watching movies and cooking for her family.

Occupational Therapist

Carmen Szeto

Carmen is an Occupational Therapist in Sydney with a background in Psychology. She has experience providing assessments and therapy across paediatric, aged care, mental health, rural community in face-to-face and telehealth settings. Carmen has enjoyed her role as a Paediatric OT supporting children with developmental delays, learning difficulties, intellectual disabilities and motor coordination disorders. She has also worked with Autistic children, ADHDers and children from a trauma background. She has a particular interest in regulation and sensory processing. She is a certified Tuning into Kids Facilitator. She has received trainings in DIRFloortime® and Learn to Play. She is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. 

 

Outside of work, Carmen likes going on coastal walks, playing racket sports and discovering new boardgames.
