I ate at the Royal with my 6 year old son last night. It is the closest pub to where I live and I just couldn't be bothered cooking dinner so we went out. I was so disappointed with my meal - the chicken schnitzel looked like it hadn't been drained properly and the crumbing was so oily, chips ok and vegies ok but nothing flash. My son had kid's spaghetti bolognese but I happen to find a piece of chicken in there somehow??? I paid $31-00 for this meal and won't be going back. The pub staff were polite but once you sat down you were left up to your own devices to get your drinks etc (standard fare for most pubs).

I am always an advocate in supporting local businesses so when I moved to Belgrave Heights I was told to visit The Groovy Fruit Shop. I can't praise Brigitte and her team enough in the service they provide - they are sooooo friendly and treat their customers like they were one of the family. The produce at the shop is fantastic with some great prices. (often lower than your major supermarkets and looking fresher) Local growers are sought as much as possible and there is always an abundance of fresh flowers, pantry products and some gourmet products. They have a loyalty card for customers which provides 20% off on the 12th visit. What an amazing find up the mountain....

I decided to try FTG Hair Care after reading the reviews off WOMO - and I was not disappointed. I first bought my children here for a trim/cut and Tayla was wonderful with them so I decided to give them a go with my own cut/colour when I was due. Tayla took the time to consult the colour change and her colour mix turned out brilliant. She was friendly and took the time to ensure I was walking out feeling a million dollars - ladies don't waste your money on these fanch shmancy salons in the inner suburbs, Tayla and Nikki can certainly hold their own and are much more affordable. Thanks ladies.... Please note that the price I have put down includes the 20% new customer voucher.

It was our fist time to Misty's - loved the atmosphere and can see it being a favourite hang-out for a group on Fri/Sat nights. Food was cooked well and very tasty - good size servings and it wasn't over greasy like some hamburger places are. Pretty good prices and would definitely visit again as there is sooooo many dishes on the menu to try!
