Unfortunately 'the best pizza on the island' was far from edible. The pizza base was not tasty and was undercooked, the meat lovers topping may have been nice if it was cooked. It seemed raw, with no charred bits to be seen. The Greek lamb had very little lamb and was particularly unappealing. The house bubbly was awful. Complete waste of money sadly. Service was friendly.

Hubby and I shared the duck spring rolls which were super crunchy and quite tasty. His mixed grill was also good. I had the crispy skinned barramundi which was missing... the crispy skin. Instead it was soggy and unpleasant to eat. However the fish itself, along with the sauce and mash and veg were all really nice. The food service was good, but the bar service was almost non-existent. Spent approx $80 for 2.

We've eaten in here a number of times and it's been tasty, but our recent takeaway order was terrible. In fact the only nice thing I can say is the free prawn crackers were good. The sauces were nothing like in-house - they were just thickened, coloured sugar sauces. We paid a lot of money for one of the worst meals we've ever had. We will never go back!

We lunched here today - it was very disappointing. Waitress sloshed the water all over the table and left it there. My seafood platter main was a grilled seafood basket. I was really looking forward to this - nothing on the plate was seasoned, cross my heart - nothing! The tiny piece of salmon, once salted, was delicious. The 3 prawns were charred nicely and tasty, the squid was like unseasoned rubbed and the salad was an entire red onion cut up and some lettuce - unseasoned of course. Rosti accompanied this - unseasoned, not cooked properly and falling apart. This very small portion was $36 - left hungry. My husband had the pork - no surprises, unseasoned but he said it was quite nice. The dining chairs were super comfortable. Would not return or recommend.

I find this a little difficult to review. My husband disliked the food. He had the pork main which was very dry. I enjoyed some of the dishes I tried. The scallop (just 1) with crunchy potato bits on top, was delicious. The prawn (just 1) in a half sandwich was also delicious. The school prawns were ok and we thought the prawn and pork dumplings were average. The small dishes in particular were not great value for money. Despite this, I would still return as there were some other dishes I would like to try. The service was very good and staff were friendly and welcoming. It's a busy place and you need to book a week or so in advance.

Pretty disappointed with my meal. Chicken parmy was underwhelming. No crispy crumb on the schnitzel and the cheese was barely melted. Very little flavour. Salad was undressed. My hubby enjoyed his beef burger. Seats were really uncomfortable. A bit annoyed we couldn't use the Entertainment voucher. They used covid as an excuse, but the place was pumping and there seemed no reason not to accept these.

We really enjoyed our main meal here. The satay chicken entrée was dry and the satay sauce was not really to our liking. The mains however were soooo delicious. The pork with garlic and chilli was super moreish, the massaman beef didn't really seem like a curry (not complaining), however the meat was so tender and the sauce was wonderful and the chow chee chicken was also fantastic. The sauce was 'drinkable' and the chicken cooked beautifully. Service was great. My only complaint was the chairs. Like so many other restaurants (unfortunately) they have the wooden chairs with round seats which are incredibly uncomfortable and within 10 minutes my back was killing me.

Service was strangely inconsistent. We were initially seated outside and it was windy and cold. They were completely booked, but the waitress found a table inside for us after I asked, which was sooo wonderful. Unfortunately the service went downhill a bit after that. I know they were busy, but they had plenty of staff. Empty glasses taken away without the offer of another drink - except as we were leaving.
My husband had the wood-fired lamb shoulder, which wasn't really wood-fired. No unctuous charcoal taste at all. Just an average piece of lamb. The potato gratin and roasted carrots sides were just ok. I had the squid with romesco and olive fregola salad - apart from maybe a few too many olives for my liking, it was totally delicious. Squid was charred beautifully and still tender. Salad was scrumptious. Would absolutely have again. Despite some hits and misses, I would definitely return. Great atmosphere too.

Our waitress was excellent. Friendly, welcoming and offered another drink when our glasses were empty - I know this would seem normal, but many service staff just take the empty glass away without offering another one - my husband's pet hate. He had the sirloin and it was delicious. I decided to have 2 entrées instead of a main. The carpaccio was fabulous. The meat was so tender and incredibly tasty. The lime mustard seed dressing which accompanied it was lovely, but for my taste there was a bit much of it. I also had the char-grilled calamari salad, which was unfortunately not great. It was overcooked and a bit bland. The salad was nice. My Aperol Spritz was perfect.

Service was ok.. Atmosphere was ok... could've been because it was a Monday, but that's when my birthday was this year. Restaurant is also quite dark. The chicken skewers and oysters kilpatrick entrees were just delish. The salt and pepper prawns main... prawns were nice, but the rest looked and tasted very much like a pub meal - and the cost was much more than a pub meal, ($39) so could be improved. The rib eye and roast potatoes were good, but a little underwhelming for the price ($54)0. Also... through the booking, they knew it was my birthday, yet no-one mentioned it... so in that case, service was not great.
