Interesting cafe in Lyttleton Terrace. The coffee was expensive for a takeaway but it was really nicely done. I thought the caravan inside the shop where the coffee is made was interesting as I have never seen anything like it. Staff are friendly and attentive.
Approximate cost: $4.00
Nice little cafe in main part of Hargreaves St. Coffee was satisfactory and was made quickly. It was a bit crowded when I was there. Didn't really stand out from other local cafes.
Approximate cost: $3.50
Went here yesterday for lunch and had the Chicken Schnitzel with garlic butter and veges and fries. It was really yum. I got to sit next to the log fire and enjoy my meal. The staff were very friendly and it wasn't very busy. Would definitely go back.
Approximate cost: $20
I visited this cafe this morning and had a yummy organic fruit toast and cuppucino. The fruit toast which is thick cut was perfect and still hot when it arrived at my table. And the coffee was amazing. I really like the decor as well - very different. The staff were very friendly. It's in a quieter part of Bendigo on the corner of Lyttleton Terrace and Mundy St and therefore it was really easy to park in Mundy St.
Approximate cost: $8.50
I just want to say I was very satisfied with the guys who delivered my goods yesterday. They were very quick, professional and efficient. Didn't waste any time, just got on with the job. And they were very punctual as well, they arrived exactly when I was told they would. My things arrived exactly as they were packed with nothing broken or missing.
Based on my experience yesterday I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
Used to be good when the previous owner was there and was reasonably priced. Then the price of the coffee shot up to $4.00 which in that location is highway robbery. It's close to the beach and other shops such as butcher, fruit market, bakery, bottle shop, hairdresser and newsagent which may be a justification of some sort for the steep price. Haven't been back since.
Approximate cost: $4.00 (coffee)
I've bought food from there a few times, they make the best hot chips and the portions are massive. The people who run the shop are always very friendly.
Approximate cost: $5-10
I am a long standing customer of St George Bank, most recently in Wollongong and have always been quite happy with their customer service. The Home Loan Centre there is good and the Lending Manager works really hard. Also today I had to ring the Head office in Kogarah and the lady I spoke with was very helpful and friendly. I would also recommend them.
Visited this place a few weeks back whilst visiting the Sunshine Coast. It was a VERY hot and humid day and i decided to order salad. They didn't have the Ham and Melon one i wanted so i went with Thai Beef. The dish is very heavy and i think it is a great winter dish - however not suitable for a hot summer day when you just want something light like a salad. Also they don't have many salads. It was quite expensive too although you do get a free drink with the meal.
I have made a bit of money from this. Every time you do a survey you will be told how much you are getting paid and your total is displayed to show how much you have made so far. It is really easy and alot of fun.
