Tried this little cafe last two weeks ago. I have to say if Ragamuffin is a very tiny cute cafe where you can sit and chat and try the huge variety of muffins , sweet and gluten free muffins and some beautiful coffee and teas, milkshakes and smoothies. We tried a rhubarb and apple crumble muffin and a passion fruit muffin plus coffee and tea. They were very yummy and so soft and the coffee was delicious. The staff are very friendly. We will go back again and try some other flavours.

It was a very unique dining experience. The place was nicely decorated and they have like a farm and kettle around the place. The food was really nicely presented and it taste very delicious. For the price-wise, I won't say this is cheap or average, but it rather a bit expensive and that's is depends what you ordered. The service was excellent and speed was average.
Overall, if you are looking for some place that is unique and fresh, then this is one of them.

We came to this Eight Modern Chinese for a quick lunch before 12 noon. Yum Cha was decent. Service was normal and ambiance was noisy. The decor was quiet nice and vibrant. Also, the food was quiet nice. There wasn't a great deal of variety in dim sum dishes today. Possibly because we were a bit early before the major lunch rush. Will dine in again if there is improvement.

Busy for a Tuesday evening. Sat outside. OK for alfresco dining - furniture more substantial than most. Service slow - it was busy. Wine list modest but OK. Food - an entree and three dishes to share came in a odd order - a main, then the entree then another main and later another. So much for food to share. The dishes varied from ordinary (spring rolls) to just better than average. The food made up for it being tasty and plenty of it but I'll think twice before going back again. Yes the food was good but the service also counts on the overall experience.

We had heard about capanos from a friend so nwhen we had a late night flight we decided to have an early dinner there on the way. Greeting is excellent. Food is beautiful. Service amazing. This is a wonderful, simple restaurant that was a pleasure to go to. Wished we lived closer so we could go again soon.

Wonderful food and superb service - cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The $31 banquets are delicious, very filling and great value. The restaurant itself is a bit dated but it is a relaxed and friendly environment. As first timers to a Lebanese restaurant we found our waiter very friendly and most helpful. Banquets at $26 and $31 included dips, entrees, mains, coffee and dessert. BYO pub across the corner. Clean amenities. Great location. We frequently return to this Surry Hills gem! Food is fresh, quick, and what value for money. We love good japanese food but often find that it can be very pricey. Don't expect anything about the ambience or service. This place feels more like a campus cafe. BUT they do serve nice quality sushi (considering the price you pay) and pretty generous servings. When you crave for sushi, Japanese food but you don't want to spend too much, this is the place for you.

I recently ordered a Spring roll and Curry Puff for my daughter at the Broadway Centre Phatboys and was surprised when - after the items were bagged the lady serving dropped the tongs on the ground and then replaced them into the food serving display. When I confronted her about this she shrugged her shoulders and after insisting three times to remove the tongs and wash them (no mention of the food!) she finally placed them on a able behind her.

Don't go there!

I have been here 3 times and the service, quality of food, and entertainment has never disappointed! My friends are I always have a fantastic time!! Everyone in my group loved their meals - grilled slamon, cajun chicken, kangaroo fillet. We were expecting greasy pub food but if I'd been served this is a name restaurant I would have been very happy. Prices are moderate (rather than cheap). The service was efficient and friendly.
Will definitely be back for the food.

This is a return visit and this restaurant was food was still the best value in town.$38 for a 3 coarse lunch is great value. The service is excellent, exemplary with the drinks and food coming out very fast. There was a very noisy party upstairs so they lost a point for atmosphere. I have always been seated by the window, booked beforehand or not, no matter how many in our party. I like to take visitors there & look forward to my next visit.
