I recently went to get some fruit at a large supermarket and I was very disappointed in the quality of the fruit on display. The nearby fruit shop proved to have a far more extensive range of fruits available, plus their prices were very competitive. They continued to stock a number of types of apples, and oranges. That. The chain store seemed to have discontinued. Why can a small local retailer still manGe to get these types of food into their shop when large supermarket chain, with aol their buying power, failed miserably. The fruit shop also had four registers working,for about twenty customers, whilst the retail chain had three working for about forty customers. I was much more impressed with the way the fruiters ran their store. They had good quality products, nice staff, easy access, and they kept their store clean, whilst the chain store had left empty boxes in the aisles.
