We dine out most weekends for b'fast. Had breakfast there last Mon 11/3. I found the place very busy, that's how we like it..service is spot on-very efficient-no probs. My husband loves his cappucino-coffee and really enjoyed his scrambled eggs there. Most breakfasts lovely, did find the pancakes a bit chewy also my hot chocolate a bit bitter. Where most other places we b'fast its not. Major problem the people serving and washing dishes at front of shop near Barista, are just too noisey that we can hardly hear our selves think. As the dishes just seem to be thrown around when washing/handling them. If you want a quiet b'fast or a talk, this is not the place to go.

The meal we had there was lovely. The only 2 problems we had were that too many thick slices of meat were given to a woman in your roast.beef. She was given about 7 slices had to leave 3 of them as too much we all agreed, Maybe you should give a choice of womans serve (so smaller) and a mans serve. The meal itself was delicious. Your 2 Chocolate mousse with icecream. I really couldnt tell what was the white chocolate and what was the icecream as they were both the same colour. .

Waited with others 1hr 30mins (had no entree) for main meal, Maybe doing Take'Aways first. Also serving later customers than us first . We found waitress hard to understand unsure whether she got our order correct. Menu was given to us FOR US to work out who got what meal, hmm Two people got wrong main meals. Banana was obviously bad but still served up. One order not even given 2us. POSITIVES: most meals were delicious, No problems with owner when she had to change the bill as one sweet not given and one sweet not right. The meals are value for money It;s a local restrauant
Staff are friendly enough. Meals must usually be good as place a buzzing...

Had breakfast, Service-quick friendly. Value: a lot better than most up market cafes we've been to. I asked for poached eggs-white part of egg was firm & the yellow part runny-as we like it. Tomatoes tasted like tomatoes not bland. Bacon maybe a little too thinly sliced. Overall I always enjoy my breakfast here more so than at some upmarket cafes in Mordialloc & elsewhere. The only real negative thing: Maybe they could get some new tables (now chipped) and chairs-but that costs money doesn't it. We'll keep going back.
