They call it art dressing for a reason, because what is done is more than a cut it is a piece of art! I have had comments that this has been the best hair cut I have ever had and hubby can't stop smiling!

Great prices, awesome service and amazing styles!Their styles are a work of art! Love the cut and colour and will be back!

I have been living in Ringwood for 5 years now and have been traveling to Camberwell, Hawthorn and Carlton for a good coffee, now all has changed!
Finally a cafe in Ringwood that has a great breakfast/brunch menu and premium coffee that makes me keep coming back!
Great industrial decor, friendly staff, amazing chefs and wonderful baristas, this place really is perfect!

I first went to ID hair as it looked fancy and I thought I would be given top service, sadly I was wrong. My daughter and I both had our hair done there and even though the cut was good they did not listen to how much thinning we needed and we left with out hair still thick and boofy..

Now that could of been forgiven if the hairdressers knew how to smile, sadly they do not!!

Approximate cost: $65

I went to Outback Jacks with my family on the weekend and we were pleasantly surprised.. I had never been there before and since it was a new restaurant in the area we thought we would have a look.

The interior was amazing with a giant statue of a crocodile hanging on the roof and it had a very country feel to the dining rooms. The hostess took us to a back section of the restaurant where there was a kids room with video games and toy machines! After we were seated my toddler was given crayons and a great little colouring book.

The service did not stop there!!

The hostess let us know the $9.95 lunch specials and gave us menus to look over. After ordering our food was cooked in a good amount of time and tasted delicious!!!

I have to say that food and drink for 4 people including steak was a awesome price at $50 for everything!!

Service, food and atmosphere A+!!!

I love Chemist warehouse.. Their prices are amazing and they have a huge variety to choose from. The only let down at the Ringwood store is that the staff are too interested in talking to each other than they are the customers.. It really is like pulling teeth when you ask someone for help!!

In the end though the prices are far too good for me to pass so I will be back!

This review is for Theobroma Chocolate Lounge, Ringwood VIC

Service without a smile-

When I went to the chocolate lounge yesterday I was expecting a nice cafe experience as the cafe itself looked quite elite and the atmosphere was relaxed. Sad to say from the moment I walked in I experienced quite the opposite.

I stood there at the counter as the staff member gave the barista a list of orders and excitedly looked at the beverage menu. When the staff member came back to the counter she just looked and stared, no smile, no hello and no asking me what I wanted.

I said hello and asked the staff member how she was today but received no reply so I promptly made my order, I was not asked if I wanted anything else, if I wanted a mug or anything further!! I then put 50c into the tip jar because I like giving tips, not a smile, not a thank you, just a blank stare..

I took my number and went and sat at my table.

My coffee was delivered in a good amount of time but once again no chit chat, no smiles, no warm and fuzzies..

I started to drink my coffee and after a few sips I started to feel ill, I thought it was just me and continued to drink.. I had a hot chocolate there a couple of months ago and I thought it must of been that the chocolate was too rich but as I continued to drink my coffee I realized that it was the milk making me feel funny..

So in conclusion I won't be returning as their service is as stale as their milk :-(

This review is for The Beauty And Brow Parlour, Ringwood VIC

verified email - 24 Jun 2013

My first thought of The beauty and brow parlour was that it had WOW factor. The store front looked amazing and when you stepped into the store it looked like a day spa, I was very impressed. What also impressed me was the great competitive prices. I paid only $18 for an eyebrow and lip waxing, where other places I am charged $25.

Sadly the WOW factor stopped there...

The first thing I noticed about the beautician was that she was very chatty. Normally I don't mind chatty but this was excessive and she spoke really fast and was hard to understand. Once again normally something I don't mind but the conversation was all about her, her, her. So as I endured 10 minutes of this chatter (As she took forever to do the wax) I lay there hoping that the times she had to go back and touch up my eyebrow that there would actually be something left there..

Then as I sat up the beautician started telling me about this moisturizer and how amazing it is. I told her that I have a good moisturizer but she said that this one smells so good and shoved her hands under my nose (It didn't smell that great) After she applied some on my waxed bits she then asked if I wanted to but some...

Umm WHAT!?!?!

Did I just hear her pimping product to me??

Now I don't know about anyone else, but someone trying to push a product on me is a huge, huge no no, especially if they have just met me and have not built a customer relationship with me..

So in conclusion the prices are great but service is much greater than prices to me. My expected spa experience turned into muddy water very quickly and I would never go back here again.

Today I happened to stumble upon this amazing little urban cafe in Collingwood. I had time to kill so decided to have a coffee.. I have to say as an ex Barista and someone who loves fine coffee, Tomboy have exceeded my expectations. The coffee was the best coffee I had ever tasted, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing and special!
